Coffee-kan - Asakusa — Restaurant in Tokyo

I've ordered 3 morning sets for me and my parents. I tried the pancakes and Blue Mountain Coffee.

For pancakes, it tastes good and likes eating a cake, can have a try for pancake lover.

For the blue mountain coffee, it's a joke as a scaled coffee shop. As a hand drip coffee lover, I can say this coffee (black) is full of the taste of astringency, really not like a good blue mountain coffee, I will give zero for the blue mountain, not worth to pay extra money to try it.

For the service, my father is disabled. When we arrived the coffee shop, I showed our number of person to a waitress but she has no reaction and at last skip us when they arranged the table to the queue. Luckily the table before us left due to some reason. I am not saying their service is bad, they have some waiters very hardworking, I can only give an average score to their service.

Overall, it's still a good coffee shop if you would find a place to...

my husband and I love strong bold coffee without too much acidity. Here is the best coffee we think ( the charcoal ones ) so far. We've tried their pancakes before, and we didn't like much ( too sweet and eggy smell ) so we just ordered coffees. I had a iced charcoal coffee, they were awesome, nothing more to say! so as my husband, he was happy. As we were sipping our happy coffee, one of the service woman was rude to foreign people who were trying to get seats. They seemed want to have seat street level but the waitress pointed at the second floor, no words . If you don't speak English, why can't just try to be friendly at least? I was not comfortable. Asakusa is the tourists mecca, they should reconsider their service, but hey , its not my company, ... I just expressed my thoughts, maybe go other...

So we were going to go to Benitsuru for pancakes but they had sold out and you had to be there early to get a spot... So we came here and what a gem of a coffee shop!

This is what we need in the UK from a coffee shop! I opted for a black coffee, pizza toast and pancakes with maple syrup and whipped cream!

The pizza toast was as it sounds but with the addition of egg mayo and bacon lardons under the cheese! It shouldn't work but this thing banged!

The pancakes were light and fluffy! More like cakes than they were regular pancakes!

The coffee was great too! Rich and freshly brewed!

It was so good we went back for breakfast the next day and ordered the same again! I thing there are a few locations so highly...
