When I was heading to Ramen Street in Tokyo Station, I found a wonderful ramen shop! !! There is already a sold-out menu, and I was attracted to the sophisticated exterior, so I changed to this shop! Purchase tickets with an external dining ticket machine, only counter seats in the store! It's a semi-open kitchen, and the music is jazz? It was an adult atmosphere. When you enter the store, it smells good and is appetizing. And it's like teppanyaki? Sushi restaurant? It's as if you came to. The voice of the clerk and the customer service were wonderful. You can get a paper apron as soon as the ramen comes out! Enchanted by the ramen that came out! It was a beautiful and transparent ramen. I got it from the soup, but it's soy sauce-based and it's light but thick, so I want to drink soup so much that I forget to sip the noodles. The thickness of the noodles was just right and it was very delicious. Someone commented that it's not too thin and not too thick, and I like it 😊 It's similar to Inaniwa udon, but that might be the case. Since the location is in front of the ticket gate, I wonder if there are many people on the move. !! There were many people, one or two. Since there are only counter seats, it may be difficult for small children. Then there wasn't a big ticket vending machine. It was so delicious that I wanted to refill it. This is a...
Read moreExcellent ramen at Tokyo station! Had their shio (salt based—rather than shoyu which is soy sauce based) ramen which was fantastic especially for a rainy day. Despite being inside a massive, super busy subway station it still had a very pleasant atmosphere. Also had the wontons which they will ask if you want them placed in your soup (I did and it was great).
You put your order in outside at the machine and pay and then wait in line to be seated at the bar counter. Didn’t wait more than 10 minutes despite the restaurant being full the entire time. They have it...
Read moreHands down one of the best shoyu ramens I've had in Japan or anywhere else. Some of the mixed reviews I feel have to do with people expecting or preferring a different kind of ramen. Shoyu is a lighter, more simple type of broth than what you'll get in many other ramen places and the portion size and toppings here are all kept quite simple too. You end up with a more refined tasting experience, perfect for a lighter lunch.
The restaurant was a bit of a challenge to find. You will have to tap in at the metro gates to able...
