Cock & Bull Bistro — Restaurant in Borneo

This bar is located on the Waterfront (2nd shop from the left if you are facing the sea). Nice bright red wall painting of a cock and bull. Can't miss it. Waiters (guys and girls) we always available and gave us fast service, Sono complaints there. We could discuss with them and improvise our menu. On the view, can't say much for it wld be the same anywhere along this beach And along the the Waterfront. BUT the seating layout here doesn't allow THOSe tourist to stand at the railing to film the entire sunset . You have to get a table and once u have a table at the railing they can't block you. Which is great and not like other bars in this area.

Now, food....well it was ok for the price but not great, with small issues like the lamb could be charred a bit more or the fried rice needs some body to it. Generally the menu mislead us, the picture doesn't say the thousand words. The nachos looked small but was a huge serving. The chicken burger had a closeup photos so looked huge but was only medium sized. We order to go the fried rice and they packed it nicely and neatly.

Drinks. I had my beer. Felt it was a bit flat. But with beer it gets better the more you drink it. It was ladies night so free drinks for the ladies which was vodka with orange punch which was a bit meh.

If you fancy an old bar, with all the liquor displayed on top of the bar wood shelves, an old fashioned furniture that will surely reminds you like that old good time then his is your place! Don't missed the sunset 🌇 cause the vies was spectacular here!

Happy Hour all night long on Monday and everyday happy hour from 3PM-9PM. I believed they have the most CHEAPEST PRICE of beer among all the bars in Waterfront. Ladies Night on Wed, FREE 2 cocktails from the bar for the lovely ladies in the house.

Live band starts at 930PM everyday. An energetic and entertaining band that can sing various songs from different language.

The employees were basically treating it like their own party. They were playing random songs they wanted to hear and skipping to the next in the middle of a song. The bartender was smoking at the bar inside. We asked to play pool, and after we asked some employees took the table so we couldn’t play. We left after 1 drink because the employees seemed they really wanted the place to just hang out for themselves and we were an...
