Hainan Cafe — Restaurant in Borneo

My second time to this place. On my first visit I tried their coffee chicken. I remembered that it was nice, the chicken was coated with sweet coffee gravy which was to my liking. On my second trip here, I decided to go for the Suki Chicken Rice. So this one come with curry gravy which you can choose to eat separately or pour on your rice. I choose the later. Overall, the food was tasty, the curry gravy ngam with the rice and chicken. Chicken was tender, although the chinese sausage is smaller compared to the display in the menu. Its mediocre at its best. Lotsa things i order ran out and they expect me to order something else with the same value . Its unprofessional and unheard off. I asked for an chicken chop, they took my order but came bacl saying they cannot spare any chicken , so i had to reorder. In another instant, i order polo bun with butter and honey. They came bacl and said no more . So i prdered a butter and kaya toast but since it was lesser in value i had to order more. What kind of logic is this? I dun mind spending money but why do i have to order sometjing i dont really want ? The more i think about it . The more i am pissed . One...

Because I am from Penang, so I am not used to the taste of the fried onion egg in Miri, kinda weird, imo. The cheese is great, absolutely love that it's not the typical artificial cheese taste that we usually get in Penang. The coffee chicken has a unique taste. If you love bitter coffee, you'll love this. Mix the coffee sauce with the cheese curry is the best in my opinion, because it reduces the jilak-ness after so much cheese.
