A spacious restaurant that is perfect for big group dinners. Menu is simple with a few choices of seafood either for SHELLOUT or GRILLED dishes such as CRABS, PRAWNS, SQUID, LALA, WHITE CLAM, BAMBOO CLAMS, SIHAM, SCALLOP, SLIPPER LOBSTER. There are also a few other noodle and rice dishes as well.
There is a minimum order of 300g of the seafood (400g for crab) with pricing just below RM30 per 300g. You can choose to add on BROCCOLI, CORN, LADY FINGERS or WHITE RICE with additional charges. The sauce choices are SAMBAL or BLACKPEPPER.
Heres what we ordered: SHELLOUT. We ordered squid, lala and prawns (300g each) cooked in sambal for 2 people which was not as much as it sounds as they include the weight of the shells too. The squid and prawns were very fresh and well cooked. The lala meat was very small but at the time they didn’t have siham which I think would be more worth it. The sambal was not spicy and was very savory and addictive.
NASI GORENG KAMPONG TFW. Fried rice with egg, anchovies, chicken, chili, long beans. The rice had a nice char taste. For below RM9, it’s a decent rice dish that goes really well with the shellout we ordered.
KUEY TIAW GORENG SPECIAL. Seafood kuey tiaw with taugeh and a sunny side up egg. Kuey tiaw texture was chewy and nice and had generous amount of prawns and squid. For the quality and portion its worth the price RM12.
GULA APONG C. A delicious refreshing drink with just apong sugar and milk. It was so good we had to order another one!
Overall, we had a pleasant dinner. Service was very quick, staffs were friendly and attentive. We would definitely...

Came here with the wife at 5pm on a Friday looking to eat good seafood!
After placing our order I asked the staff if they accept card, she nodded yes.
Our order came by not long after and it looks appetizing. The sambal they used is still fantastic however I can tell some of the seafood they served were colder than the rest. I think it was reheated, but not all the way through. Very disappointed they didn't even bother microwaving properly.
I went to pay, but lo and behold, I was told the card machine didn't work. Being a foreigner here meant I didn't have the other cashless options. The cashiers just looked at me to see what I would do next. Please la, help a bit.
Then my wife pointed out there was an ATM across the street, so I headed there and thankfully managed to get cash. When I got to the counter again, it was the server who initially told me they accepted cards. I gave her the cash... and that's it. Transaction done. No apologies, no thank yous... just a blank look.
Tl;dr Food good, was reheated poorly. Sambal is still bomb. Service was terrible. Atmosphere was alright.
Yeah, that was my last time...
Read moreThis is the go-to-restaurant for my parents everytime we drop by in town. This time, we went for dinner and there were quite a few other customers but it definitely wasn't crowded. Service was nice and quite quick.
We had the shellout and some Fried Chicken Wings. As usual, the chicken wings were fantastic. We ordered the sambal sauce (Extra sambal as well) and the sambal was sweet and savoury. Dipped the chicken in the sauce and it was heavenly. To me, the seafood was okay. My parents commented the ketam pretty besar. The food this time definitely did not disappoint.
The restaurant is spacious and had a cozy ambience. I'd say the restroom is pretty dark and a bittttt dirty.
All in all, I'm looking forward to trying out other menu options in the future!
