EDIT: upped the rating based on the answer by the owner. It would be great if they mentioned on the menu that they're not using fish. There was an elaborate explanation of a menu item with "meat" that explained how it was not literal meat, but all the "fish" dishes lacked that explanation. The fact that this was a stressful eating experience because I didn't get a clear answer on the oyster sauce question still stands. OLD REVIEW: It's not vegetarian, it's pescetarian: there is fish on the menu and they cook with fish sauce, oyster sauce, shrimp paste and whatnot from the living sea. I'm not sure why they have so many vegetarian/vegan approval stickers outside on the door when they still cook with these unnecessary products. I can't really order anything in peace if I have to make sure they don't put in actual allergens (crustaceans, molluscs and fish). And then there's endless miscommunication I'm still not sure if my request was honored. Very...

It is a nice place. But i feel the food is way overpriced. I took their fried rice. There were some green spices on the rice, a few cut up cold tomatoes, 1 piece of brocolli and 1 piece cauliflower, and a few pieces of fried beancurd and soy meat. For rm14.90, i expected at least some carrots, peas, or even the soy meat fried together with the rice. Unfortunately, that is not what happened. The prunella with mint drink however was fine. That being said, I suppose i would consider coming here next time. I didnt have a choice but to have my lunch here as i had an appointment nearby and I am vegetarian. The food was tasty, but i still think it is way overpriced.

P.s. Btw parking was hell in this area. This doesn't reflect directly on the restaurant, instead it is about...

Yummy vegetarian dishes in a variety of styles, although the place itself is a bit isolated on the quiet part of the street. Parking is aplenty though!

Reasonable selection and well prepared dishes, although the seasoning is a little heavy, perhaps to make up for the lack of flavour in the core ingredients. The red date longan drink is excessively sweet.

Staff are alright (somewhat understaffed, with one in the floor and two in the kitchen), but that being said service is at a good pace.

Spacious venue and family friendly, but the door isn't exactly wheelchair accessible. Green and eggs but certainly no ham. Tofu is a...

Last Visit: July 2017 A wide selection of Chinese and Nyonya dishes, and some Western food that are mostly with either soy meats, mushrooms or tofu. Their curries are thick, aromatic and delicious. Braised rice was good as well. Prices are a bit above average but not too pricey and still reasonable, still a nice treat once a while for delicious nyonya/chinese vegetarian/vegan food. Portions could be bigger, still have good amounts of fresh ingredients in dishes. Parking is not too difficult, with a whole row of parking available opposite of the restaurant.
