Coupe de Vin is a fantastic find in Chinatown, just near the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple. The entrance is a little understated, but once inside, the vibe is warm and inviting.

We visited during their unlimited wine special (1 hour for 88 MYR) — great value with a solid wine selection. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the experience even better.

A secluded wine bar in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. This bar is located near China Town. What caught my attention is the red neon light that says Coupe De Vin. The place is cozy and the staff are friendly. I particularly enjoy sitting by the balcony watching the crowd passing by. When I asked for a menu, they don’t have one. So I selected a wine on the display and asked for the price, the staff said 200 plus so I said okay. Then when asked for bill it was 360. I asked how come just now you said 200 plus? He said he didn’t say that. It’s like his word against mine right now. I paid but honestly that’s just not cool. Felt cheated. Will not be returning.

The owner Pris were so very helpful at helping me throw a small birthday here with a number of friends. They’ve got an amazing atmosphere and especially a karaoke system. We all had a blast at the outdoor area, but still enclosed with transparent blinds and air conditioners. Service is great too. They will have a custom menu if you wanna throw a party. and the variety of wines is superb.
