Before reading further, I would like to say I had a good experience.
As a restaurant reviewer ive reviewed it quite harshly as it is a hotpot restaurant which I considered to have easier operation compared to other restaurant. Food-wise it is a standard hotpot food nothing much, nothing less. Atmosphere is amazing.
Therefore, I was harsh on my review on the service.
Service: They are good, however the reason for 4 star and not 5 is because I expected more, for them to at least read body language/atmosphere/situation well. Example includes if some time has passed after handing customer menu and they started looking elsewhere instead of menu, it indicates they are done with ordering/require more help, some people are shy and therefore it makes their experience easier if staff has done this instead.
Looking at if their ordered drinks is finish and offer cup of water...

Read moreLovely sichuan restaurant in Four Points by Sheraton KLCC. We tried their hotpot buffet and some additional add ons, and wow, they are superb. The service was also impeccable from the moment you stepped in till you leave. The decor is nice and the environment is lovely. You do enjoy the view of the Petronas Twin Tower as you enjoy your hotpot.
Ingredients were really fresh, and choices were sufficient. They do have the vegetables, the bean items, seafood, meat, noodles, and a good selection of sauces. Five soup base for you to pick two. We had the tomato and the abalone, and I would say both are really wonderful. They do have authentic mala if you are a fan, as their head chef is from Sichuan, China.
We also ordered thei sui kow and also the sichua mala chicken, and both were superb. The flavors do remind me when I was at a Sichuan restaurant in China many years ago.
For drinks, they have fresh-brewed kekwa, herbal tea, roselle, and some youghurt drink.
They have two types of desserts and fruits.
The restaurant is...
Read moreVisited the Sichuan Kitchen twice and had both the A La Carte and Buffet offerings. Both meals were excellent being both tasty and filling when we dined in. There is a wide range of dishes on offer and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and patient with us as the cuisine was a new one for us to try. On both occasions they provided useful advice and guidance on what to select and how to process our choices. My wife and I really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and how the staff all added to our experience. We would recommend you try it if you find yourself in...
