I’ve dined at The Mesh 4 times now (brunch, Lunch & dinner) and it’s been quite a journey from a rough first visit to a much more polished and enjoyable experience in the more recent ones.
🛎️ First Visit: The initial visit didn’t leave the best impression. Service felt off, and the overall vibe wasn’t what I expected. But to their credit, Isaac from the restaurant personally reached out afterward to apologise and followed up sincerely. That gesture alone made a big difference. Kudos Isaac 👏🏻
✅ Noticeable Improvements: Since then, things have improved significantly. The team on the floor feels refreshed. More attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The entire atmosphere has shifted in a much more positive direction.
Making a reservation is now easy and smooth and everything was handled without fuss.
🍽️ Dining Experience: So far, I’ve tried their ala carte lunch and dinner multiple times and food quality has been consistently good, and the portions are satisfying.
The Mommy’s Chicken Chop is a comforting choice, especially with extra gravy. Reminds me of classic kopitiam-style flavors. Recommended!
The Chicken Beriani is packed with flavor and very well done. Recommended!
The Wok Hey Char Ho Fun surprised me with meehoon instead of flat noodles once, but taste-wise, it still held up.
Also appreciated the little touches. The staff offered coloring sheets and pencils for kids at our table, which shows thoughtfulness in service.
I haven’t tried the buffet yet, but based on how far they’ve come with ala carte, I’m looking forward to giving it a try next.
💵 Value for Money: Pricing is reasonable considering the quality of food and service. Great spot for casual dining, small celebrations, or group meals in the city.
🔚 Final Verdict: The Mesh has truly turned things around. From a shaky start to what is now one of my go-to spots in KL. They earned this 5-star review. Shoutout to Isaac and the team for making each visit better than the last. Will be back soon!...
Read moreWent to The Mesh for the first time yesterday (23/11) to celebrate my brother’s birthday. Booked the hi-tea buffet for 4 pax through their website and was done within minutes. They will call you to confirm the reservation. Was told through the call that the buffet starts at 12:30pm instead of the mentioned 1pm in the website. The foods were really good in my opinion. Lots of choices and tasted great. A few dishes were a bit under/overseasoned like:
Grilled chicken with blackpepper sauce - underseasoned Braised steam tofu - salty Pasemboq padang kota - salty
Their must try dishes for me are:
Chicken tikka salad Chickpea salad Tomato salad [I’m not sure which one of these salad contains bunga kantan but it really adds to the flavour] Ikan bakar kukus petai (My dad’s fav) Chicken rice (My brother’s fav) Beef satay (My brother’s fav. Very soft and kind of melt in your mouth) Butter prawn Chicken lasagna (Very hearty but a bit dry) Creamy sea bass (My fav. Should be eaten with caution because I found a few fish bones in the creamy sauce) Desserts: walnut chocolate cake, red velvet cake, cheesecakes, creme brulee, muah chee (All are top notch! Instantly become one of our favs)
My family and I was greeted and attended by miss Shabila. We are truly grateful for her warm hospitality

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at The Mesh , Four Points in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the Asam Pedas, which was hands down the best I've ever tasted. The perfect balance of tangy and spicy flavors left my taste buds dancing with delight.
But that's not all! For the coffee lover,The Ipoh white coffee creme brulee was an absolute revelation. Unlike any other creme brulee I've tried before, the infusion of Ipoh white coffee added a unique twist that elevated this classic dessert to a whole new level of deliciousness.
What truly set this dining experience apart, however, was the impeccable service we received from the staff, particularly Khamaria and Shabilla. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made us feel like valued guests throughout the entire meal.
Whether you're a local or a visitor to Kuala LumpuI highly recommend paying them a visit for an unforgettable...
