Date of visit: May 24, 2025 Time: 13:09 PM Table: #26 Guests: 3 humans

Let me start by applauding the staff for their impressive plot twist in the seating arrangement — truly a masterclass in restaurant logic.

We arrived and asked to be seated inside at table 17. The staff firmly told us, “That table is for 7 people.” Fair enough. Understand. we don’t want to mess with the sacred math of table allocations.

So they generously offered us a table not near the door, but AT the door while few table still available. Lovely.

We accepted it reluctantly, it’s Saturday and sometimes you just have to pick your battles.

But plot twist incoming! Just five minutes later, another group of 3 customers in and were ushered like VIPs… right to the very same Table 17 we were told was exclusively for 7 guests. Bravo! I didn’t know table sizes were subject to personal compatibility rather than actual chairs.

Then, while I was taking a photo of the tables in the restaurant for documentation, a staff member became visibly defensive and told me, “You have no right to take my photo!”Um, ma’am… the only thing in my gallery is the architectural marvel of table setup. Once shown, she went quiet. No apology, no acknowledgment, just… awkward silence.

The Thai chicken rice station has fantastic decoration, reminiscent of a local Thai restaurant. However, the space is small, with narrow table arrangements that leave little room to walk, as the tables are very close together. It’s always crowded during lunch hours, resulting in long queues.

This is a self-service restaurant where customers must fill out their order forms, pay at the counter, and wait for their meals to be served. You’ll also need to take your own chili. The staff provide minimal interaction, simply placing food on the table, and there seems to be a lack of organization – they mixed up my food and drinks with the next table, which was quite chaotic.

The boiled chicken rice tastes average. While the rice is somewhat similar to the Thai style, it isn’t quite authentic, with a strong garlic flavor. The chicken portion is very small, and the chili lacks the authentic Thai taste.

The crispy fried chicken rice is disappointing, as the chicken tastes like it was fried in reused oil, making it overly oily and unpleasant. The Thai milk tea is also underwhelming, as it is too diluted and lacks the rich “kaw kaw” flavor.

While I appreciate the restaurant’s decoration, the staff need better training. For instance, I witnessed a staff member pick up a straw from the floor and place it back into the holder with the clean straws instead of discarding it. Overall, the ambiance is nice, but the service and food quality need significant...

Ive came here four times now, twice for takeaway and twice for dine in, always during lunch hour 1.30pm-2.30pm on weekday/weekend. The place is quite small, so the tables are quite near to each other. Regardless, it is still comfortable to eat there if you dont mind sitting near to other people. I love the vibe here, similar like kopitiam/mamak but they served thai food instead haha

In terms of food that Ive tried, not much actually cause I always ordered the same thing, fried chicken rice. The portion is huge, the taste is good and the price is affordable, just RM15 ish including drinks, add on RM1 if you wanna upgrade to cold drinks. Ibe tried the chicken with thai basil if im not mistaken (also called padkrapow), but it is just okay. The fried chicken rice is still my fav. As for the drinks, Ive tried iced matcha and peach soda, both tasted good.

All in all I recommend everyone to come here, the service is quick, staff are helpful. If youre dining in, inform the staff how many pax are you, and wen you got a table, input your order on the paper and straightaway pay at the counter. Only then they will prepare your order. Some people just wait for the staff after fillinh in their order in the paper, so just writing here to let everyone knows...

I'm happy to hear there's finally a place to get delicious Thai-style chicken rice in town! Unlike the typical Malaysian or Singaporean versions, Thai chicken rice is conveniently boneless, making it a breeze to eat. This restaurant really captures that authentic feel, and the Thai dipping sauces on the table are a fantastic touch. However, the fried chicken rice could be improved. It didn't quite have that authentic flavor, and the bread kept falling off when we tried to eat it, leaving just the chicken inside. The portion sizes also seemed a bit small for the price. It felt like they might be encouraging you to order a drink or side dish to make the meal feel more complete, but even with those additions, the portions still felt too small. Finally, the ordering process could be a bit smoother. We had to write down our order and walk up to the counter to pay. While this might be normal for some restaurants, the space felt quite cramped, especially since it was busy. The cashier also seemed a little slow at inputting orders, which added to the confusion. I know they're just starting out, and I mention these things only because I'd love to see them succeed! With a few adjustments, this place has the potential to be fantastic.
