Yuzu KLCC Japanese Restaurant — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Located on the 4th floor of Suria KLCC, this contemporary yet exclusive Japanese restaurant signifies the fine dining experience of authentic Japanese cuisine. Ambiance is superb and the staff are friendly and attentive. Menu options are wide and a bit steep in the pricing due to the "authentic ingredients" flown in from Japan as claimed. The tempura udon was a bit bland with a weird "yuzu" taste (there was literally yuzu shavings in the soup which gave it a weird sour aftertaste). The katsu curry rice was also disappointing in regards of its flavour profile. The fried chicken cutlet was quite soggy. The soft shell crab temaki was quite dry, it was not pleasing to the palate. The soft shell crab tasted weird and bitter somehow. Not a great experience. Really need to improve the food in order to get customers once again. The more expensive menu items might have been better, hope it extends to all the items...

Came with a group of friends for a birthday celebration. Food was disappointing. The salmon belly was nice. Fried rice was tasteless and we had to remind them of our order multiple times, and it took them 10-15 mins to get it out, after all our orders were already on the table.

After dinner, we ordered Brownies and Banana Split. Other than taking more than 10 mins to get these out, the banana split looks unappealing, the ice cream has already melted, with ice chunks in the ice cream. Literally served old stock ice cream to us.

The brownies taste like plastic. When these 2 orders were brought out by the waitress with a single candle on each plate, they went to the front first, leaving us wondering what they were doing. They were taking a speaker to loudly play a happy birthday song from it. What a mess.

Not truly a Japanese restaurant. Doesnt feel exclusive. Don't waste your time...

I've been going to suria klcc branch for over 6 years, today it was my last visit for lunch with guests, unfortunately it's unlike what it used to be, since the staff been changed ,

Staff service is nothing in comparison to what it used to be with the old staff. We didn't get everything we ordered, we had to chase for the rest of the order.

2.Food quality, got really bad, we ordered ginkgo nut, only to be shocked to see many are rotten and worms inside. And, the food portion nearly half what it used to be while the prices nearly increased 30-40%.

The menu been changed with many items been taken out. As a conclusion, I will never recommend it to anyone. this will be my last visit.

P.S. I'm sure the management will read my review and as usually they'll apologize, apology isn't...
