The lovely minimalist but very natural design, and cleanliness of this place was really enjoyable. It’s a very quiet vibe that makes people want to sit and do some work in while enjoying some good food and drink. I came midday for lunch and there was a lot of natural light which was really nice as well. Personally I dislike kombucha because of its vinegary and strong taste however I tried both the passionfruit one (I believe it was the special?) and a ginseng oolong based one and really loved it. I feel the kombucha here is mild but in a good way! Like more a fruity tangy soda then the rather intense and (for me personally) a bit hard to swallow easily stuff I occasionally buy. So I was really very pleasantly surprised :D And if your still unsure on the kombucha they offer free samples to try the different flavors like how you get samples of ice cream flavors which is super nice! The food was delightful, I came with family and they had a chili oil prawn pasta with broccoli- one of the people was vegetarian so they replaced the prawns with mushrooms, I stole a bite, still just as good hehe- while I had the kimchi grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was very crispy and generous with kimchi so I liked it a lot but tbh I kept stealing the chili prawn pasta hahaha it was flavorful, the prawns tasted fresh and the broccoli was firm and well cooked. When I come back I’m very interested in trying the other pastas tbh However the dessert- the anmitsu- was the real winner of my foodie heart 🄰 the matcha ice cream was still sweet with strong green tea flavor, the fruits were fresh, there was jelly at the bottom, the red bean was very sweet and complimented the ice cream, and the mochi pieces were warm and soft and very chewy. I loved eating the mochi with a bit of red bean and the ice cream together! Very addicting :3 What was really cute was they added a Malaysian twist by replacing the traditional dark sugar cane syrup with Gula Melaka which is what you pour over the dessert to make it even sweeter hehe The staff were lovely and from the atmosphere to the food I had a very nice time :3 I will definitely recc to my friends should they pass by~

A newly opened minimalist cafe in the thriving neighbourhood of Kampung Hulu. Saw the signboard along the main road just opposite Masjid Kampung Hulu, and noticed that the entrance is at the back, facing the Melaka river. We ordered a flat white, a pot of genmaicha. Flat white is good and smooth, and has a distinct flavour. The owner told us that the coffee beans are roasted and sourced locally. Genmaicha is very soothing and refreshing, and can be refilled for free. For food we ordered the Salmon and Cream Cheese Bagel and a Grilled Cheese and Kimchi sandwich. Both were generous in portion and fillings, and served with a very tasty salad with a citrusy dressing. We could really taste the smokiness of the salmon, paired with cream cheese and capers, but the highlight was really the unconventional but surprisingly tasty combination of kimchi and grilled cheese, toasted and pressed on two slices of sourdough slices. Highly recommended. We then added 2 slices of sourdough bread, served with olive oil and dukkah (a blend of nuts and spices from Egypt) which was really interesting. The sourdough slices were soft and fluffy, and can be eaten on its own. Lastly we ordered 2 cups of kombucha. Their version of the kombucha is milder and lightly carbonated. These were refreshing and we could taste the organic tea as an aftertaste. All in all a wonderful experience to come for some healthy food and relax in their cozy, Green environment.

I always ask why melaka town dont have a chill and good ambiance cafe in town. And recently I found it! A quite newly open cafe that just beside the melaka river call ā€œPICOā€ ! Omg the view!!!! Love it! Thanks for the owner put so much effort on this place. Overall is a big plus for my visit, just a minor point I need to point out🤪 1) the table… hm.. look like canteen eh.. maybe some small plant on to the table if you can’t change the table or the table direction arrangement? 2)for the drink, I only tried the coffee and kombucha, kombucha was very nice…. But hor… the coffee’s bean you might consider change the supplier eh ( or maybe that batch i had is not that good condition that time ) 3)sourdough is supply or handmade one ah? may I suggest you try that one sell by ā€œthe sharing plateā€ … but tis is very personal preference one la. Some people might like dough are more soft… 4)food portion bit small leh if compare with the price.. i don’t mind the price slightly higher for a such good cafe la, but… add a little bit portion to feed my stomach boleh tak? Hehe And one last thing! All the crew here are so amazing! Super friendly and lovely. Make me felt so welcoming here. šŸ˜‰ See you guys soon ya! Can’t wait to have a better taste of coffee here ā£ļøā£ļø
