I almost walked past and missed out on one of the best meals I had in Malacca with the green plants and small sign board near the front door. An original long narrow shop house, it's nicely decorated and gives you the feeling you are eating in someone's home kitchen. They have a good sized menu - as a vegetarian I decided to ask for recommendations on suitable dishes. I tried the spicy green curry and heritage ginger milk tea. The handsome and helpful staff offered quick service and while waiting I listened to the cook singing along to background music - someone enjoying making great food. The green curry was less green than I have seen elsewhere and likely it was due to being loaded with nice veggies eggplant, cabbage, and topped with a good amount of fresh sliced red chilis. It came with a side plate of steamed white rice. The rich curry had a nice strong flavor and perfect spiciness level - in between runny nose but not to eye watering. I have tried many milk teas but never ginger flavor and it was such a nice drink, I thought about ordering a second mug. It used to be absolute thai , but this place Ware thai become my no. 1 in sense of authenthic thai tomyam taste. ( U must ask for the normal spicy at least then u get the real taste ) Better than majority of shops thailand that i have tasted. Also a must to try is their tomyam fried rice and fried glass noodle.
