The worst food encounter of my life wasn't a single dish, but a whole experience that left a lasting impression. Each course was a letdown, a far cry from the culinary masterpiece promised.

The entire experience felt like a pretentious charade, a desperate attempt to mask mediocrity with fancy words and a high price tag. It was a reminder that good food isn't just about presentation or fancy descriptions; it's about quality ingredients, skilled preparation, and a genuine passion for flavor.

Leaving the restaurant, empty and disappointed, we vowed never to return. The memory of that day serves as a cautionary tale, a reminder that not every "gourmet" experience lives up...

Nice place to check in, all area can shoot many nice photo with your traditional nyonya cloths.

Food just normal taste as cafe, not old-fashioned taste(古早味), we order black vinegar pork trotters egg noodles and the vinegar can be more sour, Nyonya Pie Tee is crunchy but the acar taste is light, ondeh-ondeh is nice to try because you can feel the explosion when you bite it, the gula Melaka sauces in the middle is busting out!😍The Shredded Coconut outside the ondeh-ondeh also nice, just the gula Melaka not enough taste.

Anyway, this is a good place for you to chit chat and have a beer with friends when you feel tired after a long walk in...

There's a kapitan roastery cafe which is connected and where you place your order.

This place lack of the "welcome" vibes for tourist despite being a tourist spot? When I went there all the staff seems occupied with their handphones and because the area is so big you can just help yourself and look for a seat then order at the counter.

Despite me being a local I thought I just drop by and check it out. But honestly if you are going to promote "Melaka" start it from welcoming our tourists. I feel so paiseh as a Malaccan with such a lack of service.

I believe that service could be better and will provide a better experience to...
