Curry Kway Teow ( Flat Rice Noodles) is quite different from what we are used to with thick, spicy gravy. Instead, this is a light version. It's watered down .Flavours are subtle. Perhaps blend for some. It seems that this is the standard for Curry Noodles here. 😊 oh, and the kway teow is the thin version. Prawn Bee Hoon (Rice Vermicelli)was fantastic! Especially if you prefer the spicy version. Broth is nice, thick, and flavourful. The texture of the bee hoo is slightly rougher and thicker than what we're used to. This is a delicious bowl of noodles! 🦐🍜 The sauce on the Chee Cheong Fan (Rolled Rice Noodles) is a dark sweet version that is commonly used widely in noodles in KK. I wonder if it's made fresh onsite. If so, it lacks the freshness. They also bake fresh buns here. Soft, warm, and yummy! We tried the peanut, kaya cheese, char siew, floss, and cheese buns. The reason why it's so good is because it's freshly baked and in minuted quantities. Sorry, we ate it before we could take any pics 🤦‍♀️

Best place for breakfast. All items are delicious. Found it on my 2nd day in KK. Thereafter went everyday, breakfast, dabao their pau and bread for tea or anytime in the day. Love their toast and eggs set, only RM3.10, two eggs just done best and so delicious with toasted bread. Other bread all good and MUST try peanut bread. Har gao, yam kor, etc all very good. Fried items are very crispy and soft insides.... So so much to say about it. I am not a bread person, but 4 days in Ho Chiak is like 6 months of my bread quota lol. Must try.

Good place to dine in.

Used to serve a plethora of good Siew Mai selection (the Ha Kaw was to die for). Used to be the go to place for large prawn and big portions for relativity cheaper price.

Emphasis on "used to".

They no longer serve siew mai or any of the previous selections. Ha Kaw was removed from the menu inclusive of alot of other menu. Portions went smaller. Wouldn't mind the price if the food is good. Owh, they no longer have a menu for drinks which is weird.

But all in all, from an amazing restaurant to your typical local restaurant. The buns are delicious tho.

"Update: They brought...
