Very lucky to have discovered this place! Although it’s in a very central and touristic area of Valletta it is a bit hidden. I was tired from my early flight and was ready to order from a fast food place nearby but I saw this place which looked very cute, checked the menu and then sat down outside looking to some beautiful Maltese facades. The customer service was excellent! I don’t eat meat but there were many meat plates I would love to taste! I chose a very interesting brunch: deep fried yolks on avocado paste and pomegranate seeds. Wow! The cutest thing was the olive oil for the accompanying focaccia: it has some jellies made from basil and mango which I both love. The taste of everything together was incredible. I want to go again! I had a freshly squeezed orange juice and after brunch I ordered an espresso. Both top quality! Prices similar to England - kind of expected and worth it. Thanks to Petra and Vlada for elevating my first...
Read more"I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a quick lunch at Pamen in Valletta, and I was thoroughly impressed! I opted for the speck and tartufo focaccia, which was not only amazingly fresh but also incredibly filling and flavorful. The combination of high-quality ingredients and the unmistakable aroma of truffle made for a delightful meal. I also picked up a Pistacchioso focaccia for a friend, who was equally satisfied with their choice. The variety of focaccias on offer is truly exciting, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit to try more. Beyond the delicious food, what stood out was the warm and friendly service provided by the staff. They made the dining experience even more enjoyable. If you find yourself in Valletta looking for a fantastic meal, I highly recommend stopping by Pamen. Their focaccias are...

We were the only people in the restaurant and it took over 45 minutes for burnt carbonara and medium tuna steak. The burnt guanciale tasted horrible and was falling to pieces. The waiter my reaction and hesitantly took it away. Brought it back with the guanciale almost the same, upon tasting the sauce had a taste that was not right. I stopped eating and the waiter knew ahain there was an issue and the chef knew too. I did not order anything else and when we left they charged me for a dish which was sent back and as inedible. Honestly the worst carbonara I have ever...
