Best Godfather Pizzeria - Best Pizza in Town — Restaurant in Pokhara

Tourist Trap! Terrible and expensive pizza! This is maybe the worst pizza I've ever had. I ordered the meat lovers pizza for 600 and a coke for 100 rupees and those crooks charged me 850 because of a more than 20 percent service charged that isn't mentioned on the menu. Service was awful and I couldn't find anyone to order from and the dmall pizza took 20 minutes to cook and was cold.

The pizza had no marinara or any sauce which technically doesn't even make it a pizza. There were small patches of cheese with no flavor, I scraped all the cheese off two slices and put it in my mouth and there was no taste. The crust was very hard and tasted like cardboard. I used to work at a pizza shop. Pizza us incredibly cheap to produce and easy to prepare. I would be willing to pay 600 to 800 rupees for good pizza but this was awful and all the ingredients were stale and low quality. Service charges should not be mandatory and should be factored into the price. The cashier also gave me all my change in 20 and 10 rupee bills even though I could see 100s just to be even more of a worthless troll.

There are two godfather pizza restaurants in Lakeside. The other one is down past Hollan chowk. I prefer the pizza at this one. I wish they would change their name or at least change the listing on Google to reflect the slight difference as this one is sometimes, inconsistently, called "Best Godfather Pizza". They are not the same place. They do not have the same menu, prices or pizza. If you eat here complain to the manager about assuring the name gets changed online at the very least. The reason I give them three stars is that they, and perhaps all lakeside restaurants, need to state clearly that their is an additional 23% tourist tax. They also add in addition to that they add another 15% tip fee, which the waiter may deserve but probably won't get. You don't get to give it to her yourself. So your 600 rupee pizza with a drink can get shockingly expensive. So pretty good pizza, and up front prices, but without any tomato sauce. None. Nice view from the porch in back. No clarity that they are not the same as the godfather pizza across town. No notice of the shock you will get when you pay your bill. They may do deliveries so keep...

I ordered food via foodmandu from this restaurant. Ordered chicken steamed momo*10 all I got was max buff momo and very few of them were chicken momo. Didnot wanted to review badly as such but when you behave in such a mean way to the customer I really feel like to write some words here. Ordered 2 pizza oh gosh I never had a pizza without cheese. I could make better pizza than that at my home in my oven. Ordered french fries worst ever. This is how you treat customer who orders online??? Such a disappointment with the quality of food provided. You should give a nice customer service during this time when the world is facing pandemic and people are scared to walk to the restaurant. I donot know how the food is like when we walk to the restaurant but online ordering is worthless. Shame...
