This is an ideal budget hotel for Indians visiting pokhara. As a budget hotel, it has all the basic amenities.Rooms and beds are clean. Pro is the staff, rarely have I ever seen a staff so helpful. They drew a map for us of all the places we can visit, booked cabs for us, booked luxury bus tickets for us to pokhara and even managed to bring the bus right in front of the hotels and make it stop for a few minutes as we were delayed .They contacted australian camp and let us know thar there were vacancies .They answered all our queries regarding currency exchange, nepal SBI atms, markets to frequents, travels etc. They were very humble and polite and could speak hindi and english
However those looking for premium experience may wanna skip this. There are a few cons, wifi is slow, breakfast has variety but is average and room service is a bit sloppy and perhaps non existent . Our request to order extra quilt or to improve wifi fell on deaf ears. Our rooms were not cleaned, you have to ask them specifically apparently while going out .You have to ask them more than once for things . However these are minor irritants and if you are an indian especially a student or a budget traveller who hasn't done any prebookings for pokhara, you may not get a better budget hotel for the same price not to mention the friendly treatment too!. Don't go for ideal, go...
Read moreStayed at Hotel Snowland and overall, it was a peaceful and pleasant experience. The hotel is clean, quiet, and the location is unbeatable — literally steps away from the beautiful Fewa Lake. You can wake up, walk out, and be greeted by serene lake views with the Annapurna range in the distance.
Rooms were tidy and well-maintained. The ambiance was calm, perfect for those who want to escape the chaos and enjoy Pokhara’s laid-back charm.
The manager deserves a special mention — very helpful in arranging our sightseeing and activities. That said, he’s got the classic Nepali “businessman” charm — always ready with suggestions… that coincidentally include a commission on the side. But hey, he does get the job done, so we won’t complain too much. Just bargain a little, and smile through it!
Would recommend this hotel for a comfortable, peaceful lakeside stay — just don’t forget to use your...
Read moreLocation is good near lakeside. BUT the service and room is totally unexpected as per the price. Rooms looked dilapidated with chipped plasters and weird looking colors. The curtains had lipstick and kajal stains. Most disappointing was there was no water boiler and no adequate drinking water. Ac was also not working. Also some light bulbs were not working thus light was dim. There was also no breakfast served with that price. Most disappointed to stay in the whole tour of...
