Title: Disappointing Stay with Numerous Issues
I recently stayed at this hotel, and the experience was extremely disappointing due to a variety of issues: Missing Shower Curtain: For two out of three days, the shower was missing a curtain, which caused water to flood the bathroom floor. This should have been resolved promptly but wasn’t. Mold in the Bathroom: The privacy screen in the shower had visible mold—a glaring cleanliness issue that made the stay feel unhygienic. Breakfast Disappointment: Breakfast, advertised as ready by 6 AM, was cold and clearly reheated in warmers rather than freshly prepared. Additionally, there’s an extra charge for anything beyond instant coffee, such as bean coffee or an Americano, which felt like nickel-and-diming guests. Broken Bathroom Light: The light over the sink was out when I arrived and had to be fixed by maintenance, adding unnecessary inconvenience to my stay. Filthy Windows: The windows facing the courtyard were covered in bird excrement, and despite the obvious dirtiness, they remained uncleaned throughout my stay. Dinner Inconsistencies: Ordering the same dish on two different nights resulted in completely different portion sizes, tastes, and presentations. It’s clear the kitchen lacks quality control. Construction Noise: To make matters worse, there was ongoing construction during the day with constant hammering and sanding noises, making it impossible to relax in my room. When I asked about moving to a quieter room, I was told there was nothing available, leaving me stuck in a noisy and unpleasant environment.
This hotel failed to meet even the most basic expectations for cleanliness, comfort, and service. Between the lack of attention to detail, poor maintenance, subpar food, and the added frustration of construction noise with no alternative room options, I cannot recommend this property based on my...
Read moreWe stayed at Landmark Hotel in Pokhara with high expectations, and while the experience was mostly pleasant, it didn’t fully live up to the price. The hotel definitely has some great features—starting with its rooftop swimming pool, which offers beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the city.
The in-house restaurant was also impressive. The food was tasty, and the ambiance was calm and inviting. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, polite, and professional. Their warm hospitality made us feel welcomed and well looked after.
However, despite these positives, we couldn’t help but feel that something was missing. It’s hard to point out exactly what—maybe the rooms felt a bit plain, or maybe the overall vibe didn’t quite match the premium rates. For the price we paid, we expected a little more in terms of room comfort, amenities, or unique touches to make the stay feel truly special.
It’s not that Landmark is a bad choice—it’s clean, well-managed, and in a good location. But compared to other options in the same price range, it just doesn’t feel like great value for money.
In short, Landmark Hotel has all the ingredients for a great stay—good food, lovely pool, and kind staff—but it needs that extra something to make it truly memorable. A solid 4 stars from us, with room for...
Read moreHORRIBLE STAFF! STAYING HERE IS LIKE FLUSHING YOUR MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN! The receptionists have absolutely no manners and are very rude! They misplace your keys and blame you for losing it! The house keeping is so lethargic that they take 2 days to get sugar packets to your room after constant reminders. We asked them for water bottles at 10am and after reminding them several times they tell us at 12 pm that they will give it after 2pm. So lethargic to even provide water to the guests!! We had to wait for 3 hours for our check-in and after that also only 1 room was ready out of 2. For every little thing you want in your room they need atleast 10 reminders, very dumb staff - specially the receptionists - they will disable your room key at any point, disconnect your call when you're asking for something, and worst is blaming you for losing the room keys when you left it at the reception for cleaning. On top of that she had the audacity to tell me she is calling the tourist police and asked me to pay for it. Don't pay them a bloody penny, they are just greedy for money and customer satisfaction is a foreign concept for them. After reminding them for tea bags 15 times for one and a half day they get coffee packets to your room! If you want to make your trip at Pokhara miserable - this is your...
