Scam Alert !!! Worst Experience!!! I along with my girlfriend went to the venue last night, we had a good experience with the music and also liked the ambience. We ordered some Corona beer and Hookah and the menu presented to us in the first place had a different price Rs 385 or 395 for Corona beer (which we both had noticed) and we also had a discussion saying the price seemed decent. But when we asked for the bill at the end, the price for the beer was charged Rs 895. We both were shocked. We asked the staff and she called someone which we guess was the manager or owner. We told him about menus price being wrong. He then said there are 25 menus printed and also said he would present all those menus for us to check. We asked him to present the menu but he couldnât. We even told him we were more than happy to pay the amount if he could accept there had been a mistake and he didnât accept. We had a discussion for a while and still, he didnât accept, finally, we paid the whole amount. Also, the same person which I guess the manager was so rude to us. Overall it was really the worst experience. Felt like a big SCAM!! Not...
Read moreWE BELIEVE IN "GOOD ETHICS IS GOOD BUSINESS" is the motto this restaurant has decided to use for showcasing their motive. However, it's clearly evident from the deeds of their staffs, especially bouncers, have to be made known about what "ethics" mean! They committed a sinful and unlawful act some days prior by brutally dragging and punching a restaurant guest after the party had paid and left the premises of theirs but was dragged and brought inside and brutally beaten to the point where facial bruises, nosebleed and subconjunctival hemorrhage occurred. The physical assault by the bouncers is unjustified by law, as Article 16 and Article 22 of the Constitution of Nepal explicitly prohibit physical harm and guarantee the right to live with dignity. On top of that, the discount to be given after having reserved a table wasn't given. The amount being Rs2000 wasn't deducted on the final bill while the staff who received the money (Rs2000) had told the discount would be made.
We demand justification and explanation of this act from Paradiso, a restaurant supposed to serve, not physically hurt...

We specifically visited to watch a weekend football match. While the game was shown on a massive screen, there was no live commentary or sound. Instead, a live band played on a stage below the screen.
We have nothing against live music, in fact we quite like it. Just not on days where you expect to watch a football match with live commentary.
Advertising as a 'sports bar' creates the expectation of sound and commentary during major games. This significantly detracted from the experience.
Overall, the experience was rather...
