I recently had the pleasure of visiting the renowned House of Fries in Amsterdam, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable culinary experience! From the moment I stepped into the cozy yet bustling eatery, I knew I was in for a treat. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the vibrant atmosphere and the aromatic scents wafting from the kitchen. The place was buzzing with locals and tourists alike, a true testament to the popularity of this gastronomic gem. Despite the busy scene, the staff remained friendly, attentive, and efficient, ensuring that every diner was well taken care of. Now, let's get to the star of the show—the food! House of Fries certainly lives up to its name when it comes to their fries. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned, these golden beauties were a true revelation. Each bite transported me to a place of pure satisfaction and indulgence. But it doesn't end there! We decided to try their highly recommended sweet and sour shrimp, and oh my, it was a match made in culinary heaven. The succulent shrimp were delicately fried to perfection, coated in a tangy yet subtly sweet sauce that danced harmoniously on the taste buds. Paired with their legendary fries, this dish was an explosion of flavors that left me craving for more. What truly impressed me about House of Fries was the attention to detail and the dedication to quality. Every dish was prepared with utmost care and precision, showcasing the culinary expertise of the talented chefs. It was evident that only the finest ingredients were used, resulting in a mouthwatering symphony of flavors. As I savored each delectable bite, I couldn't help but appreciate the ambiance of the place. The cozy seating, rustic decor, and lively energy created a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. It was the perfect spot to unwind and indulge in some truly exceptional comfort food. Whether you're a local or a visitor to Amsterdam, a trip to House of Fries is an absolute must. Prepare yourself for a tantalizing journey of flavors, where fries become an art form and every dish is crafted with passion and expertise. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!

House of Fries is an absolute gem for late-night cravings in Amsterdam. Open until 3 AM, it’s the perfect spot for night owls and those looking to satisfy their hunger after a night out. The place is always bustling with activity, which is a testament to its popularity and the quality of food they serve. One standout item on the menu is the Chicken Satay Fries. These are simply too good to miss! The fries are perfectly crispy, and the chicken satay is tender, flavorful, and generously coated in a delicious peanut sauce. The combination is heavenly and makes for a truly satisfying snack or meal. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Amsterdam, House of Fries is a must-visit for anyone who loves great fries and a lively atmosphere. Highly recommended despite the fact that it’s the most expensive fries I’ve had ever hahaha. PS - I’d suggest don’t go for the prawns as it’s literally 5-6 tiny bits of prawn and it doesn’t taste half as good as the chicken satay!

I like this frie point because they serve in boxes and not in a package (envelope). Thus, it is more convenient to eat. You can also ask to pour the sauce into a separate plastic cup. You just need to ask yourself. We were never asked at the checkout how to pour the sauce, but I saw other customers have sauce in a cup. Also, keep in mind!!! Not always give an even amount of sauce. For example, recently we took a large potato with andalusia sauce - so much piled up that there was even a little left, we were glad. The last time they took spicy sauce, put 3 times less, ate half the potatoes without sauce - it ran out. The potato itself, to be honest, does not differ from point to point. I recommend both regular and sweet potatoes - both options are delicious. Sweet potatoes are slightly sweeter. Prices are average. The workers are polite and smiling.
