Worst KFC experience ever..!!!
My friends and I visited this KFC on the night of 16/07/2024 and had the most unpleasant experience. We were a group of 20 people and placed an order costing over 250 euros. When we asked to use the washroom, the manager demanded an additional payment of 20 to 40 euros. Despite our substantial order, he insisted on this extra charge.
The manager then asked where we were from. Even though we study in Paris, France, we mentioned that we are originally from India. He responded with a discriminatory comment, implying that as Indians, we couldn’t understand European ways, which felt like a clear case of racial discrimination.
Moreover, our food took an excessively long time to be served. We ordered in smaller groups of 4 to avoid a single large order, yet orders placed after ours were served first. We arrived at the KFC around 23:30 as it was supposed to be open until 01:00, but we didn't receive our food until 00:20. As we began to sit and eat, a waiter informed us that we needed to leave by 00:30 due to KFC policy. When we questioned how we could finish our meal in just 10 minutes, he rudely insisted and forcibly made us leave.
We approached the manager about this issue, and he initially spoke in English but then claimed not to understand us, demanding we speak Dutch. This sudden switch to Dutch seemed like an attempt to avoid addressing our complaints, despite having conversed in English previously.
The staff displayed a complete lack of manners, respect, and customer service. We felt humiliated and disrespected. It’s shameful for KFC to employ such unprofessional individuals.
Shame on KFC for allowing this kind of behavior from...
Read moreWe visited this KFC late at night on 30th September. At first, we were checking the menu both at the kiosk and at the counter. Interestingly, the options and deals were different on each. One of the female staff members was very kind and patient—she explained things clearly and even helped us find a better overall deal. She mentioned that a certain “deal burger” option was only available via the kiosk, so we went to try it there.
While checking again, we realized she had actually been applying a better deal for us, so we returned to the counter. By then, another staff member (who introduced himself as the manager) had taken over. When we explained the deal we were trying to get, he flatly said no such option existed and dismissed our request, despite us pointing out that his colleague had just explained it to us. His tone made it feel like we were being unreasonable, which was disappointing—especially since we were tired, hungry, and in a new country.
We ended up paying more than we should have, and the food itself was also underwhelming—not close to the usual KFC taste we’re familiar with in other countries. The chicken and burgers were only “okay” at best.
The only positive note was the lady who initially helped us—she was genuinely polite and tried to guide us, but unfortunately, our final interaction with the so-called manager spoiled the experience.
Overall, confusing pricing, inconsistent staff communication, and below-average food. We left wishing we had not ordered at all. Definitely not up to...
