the staffs are very rude.
When we entered the shop, one of the staff literally rolled her eyes to our face when I accidentally said 'excuse me' when she was checking out bills for the others. When I realised that she was checking out the bill for the others, I kept quiet and waited for her.
When it was our turn to order, my mother said '3?' and pointed at a bread. Both my mom's English and Dutch aren't so great, and I can't speak Dutch. so I told the staff 'yes 3 of these please.' Then the staff looked down and murmured 'I know what 3 is.' I was quite surprised at the unnecessary attitude but still didn't say anything.
After we checked out the bill, they did not even give us the receipt. I supposed maybe it was a mistake, so I just asked for it. She rolled her eyes again and gave it to me, then walked away and said very quietly 'don't bring it in next time, it smells.'
I was then officially offended and I asked her to speak up again, she said she was referring to a sausage in my hand. WE ORDERED TAKEAWAY so I really do not see the problem. If it's not allowed to have others food while inside their shop (although we were just standing by the counter to order takeaway...?) the right thing for them to do was to just told us so at the beginning.
So then I told her 'we ordered takeaway', and she said 'yeap. Bye bye.'
And for all the things happened above, they did not look at us for even once. We come to amsterdam every year, and honestly this was the worst experience we have ever...

However, we had to wait nearly 15 minutes before the store had beginning signs of opening. When asked, the girl (longer black hair in her 20's) retorted one, it's her store (she claimed to be the owner). She can open whenever she wants to and two, this is Holland (we are from US and Taiwan, in town for a convention). Insulting customers and making your country look bad all at once. Maybe she had a bad morning? Either way, you lost our business. There is another place next door. Chose at your own discretion. No wonder this place is rated low. Customers pay your wages. My fiancé ordered the same meal and took one bite and could not eat it. It was revolting. Even chicken rolls are microwaved here.
I had to go to the counter the ask for my money back where I was told I could only be refunded 6€ out of the 20€ spent.
