Majestic Coffee - Five Lanes — Restaurant in Christchurch

I didn't realise how TINY this Majestic Cafe was until I went. Felt like it was the same size as my bedroom! So the cabinet selection was very small. It was a little cramped in terms of space so I had to help move some chairs around so that another customer in a wheel chair could fit in comfortably. I enjoyed my time there and can see it's great for a hot beverage and pastry on the go. I did find it a little weird that the place was empty when I walked in and the owner (I'm guessing? Or I would hope so lol) walked into the cafe from the store across the place and left for the same store after she made my tea. Like I get it, I wouldn't want to sit in an empty cafe either. If you're looking for a spot to grab your morning coffee early in the area, this place is a great choice as it opens at 7am. Their coffee is top-notch and definitely worth a try. I highly recommend treating yourself to their hot chocolate on a cold day - it's one of the best I've had in a long time.

I first went to the Majestic Cafe while visiting my old home town of Invercargill and was very pleasantly surprised when I saw white chocolate mocha on the menu. I have now returned to Christchurch and had visited the Majestic Cafe in the BNZ Centre/5 Lanes Mall and the white chocolate mocha here is just as delicious and very tasty, not quite as frothy as I usually like but still a tasty sweet treat for my taste buds.
