I recently had the pleasure of dining at Niko's Pizza in Orewa with my wife, and I must say, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. We ordered the Vegetarian Pizza and the Greek Pizza, and I can wholeheartedly recommend both of these delectable choices to anyone looking for a truly satisfying pizza experience.
Firstly, let me emphasize how consistently outstanding the service at Niko's Pizza is. Having frequented this establishment numerous times, I can attest that the level of service has only improved with each visit. The staff members are a testament to hard work and dedication, as they meticulously pay attention to every detail, ensuring that each pizza and dish is nothing less than perfection.
Now, let's delve into the culinary delights that graced our palates. The Vegetarian Pizza was a symphony of flavors, with a thin, crispy crust that perfectly complemented the generous array of fresh, colorful vegetables. The combination of zucchini, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, and more, was a delightful explosion of taste and textures. It's a vegetarian's dream and even a meat lover like myself couldn't help but relish every bite.
Equally impressive was the Greek Pizza, a true homage to Mediterranean flavors. The crust had just the right amount of chewiness, providing the ideal canvas for the medley of ingredients that adorned it. The aromatic oregano transported us to the shores of Greece with every mouthful. This pizza was a culinary journey that left us craving more.
But what truly sets Niko's Pizza apart is the unwavering commitment to improvement. It's evident that the team takes immense pride in their craft, as each visit showcases their dedication to refining their offerings. This dedication is palpable in every bite and every interaction, making every return visit to Niko's Pizza a unique and delightful experience.
In conclusion, if you're seeking a culinary adventure that combines exceptional service, attention to detail, and mouthwatering pizzas, Niko's Pizza in Orewa is an absolute must-visit. Whether you're a vegetarian, a meat lover, or somewhere in between, the menu caters to a variety of tastes and preferences. With every visit, you'll be treated to a gastronomic journey that leaves you eagerly anticipating your next delightful encounter with their culinary creations. Niko's Pizza has truly set a new standard for pizza excellence, and I can confidently award it a well-deserved...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf i could, i would rate it in negatives. He was extremely rude towards me and my family. I accidently ordered a mince pizza and later realised we can't have it. So i started by apologizing to him because it's obviously my mistake. But he started yelling at me, saying that it's not his fault. I agreed with him and said that i dont want a refund, it would be great if he could just keep the untouched pizza with him. It was just a request, but he was responding very rudely. He said he wont keep it and now it's my problem. I dont disagree with him, but he had no right talking to me that way. He made me look like a fool infront of all the other poeple there even when i was trying to be nice. My sister went in to ask if she could get some ketchup, she was yelled at by him too, saying that they dont give ketchup.
If you are going to talk to your customers like that, you better not expect customers anymore because no one wants to be yelled at by their service provider. The entire situation could have been dealt very politely, but he had to ruin my family outing with his degraded behaviour. It was either him being racist to me or he talks like that with everyone, neither of which is a good sign. Dont be fooled by his social media posts where he pretends to be the nicest person on earth, he's not.
Talking about the pizza, the margharita pizza i ordered was swimming in tons of oil. Picked up one slice and oil was running down my sleeves. Crust felt uncooked and chewy. For 20 dollars and a wait for 30 minutes, i get a so called pizza swimming in oil. I could have spent 7 dollars at pizza hut for a much better pizza in 10 minutes. In the name of authentic pizza, it was garbage.
Orewa beach is great and if you are after some real tasty authentic firewood pizzas, there are tons of pizza places way better than niko's pizza like downbeat and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA few weeks back, we had just moved into the area that weekend and decided to try out the local pizza options. We phoned an order through for around 7 large pizzas (over $200 order) at around 6pm and was told it would take around 1 hour. No problem at all for us. When we arrived to collect, there was no warm greeting, we were instead told off and accused of being the cause that they had to turn away 10 customers because of our order. I wasn't sure he was being being serious initially, but the accusations kept coming. It was quite embarrassing really, we were then told in future if we wanted to put through such a big order we need to phone at 5pm and he can do 1 pizza for us, 1 for another customer and so on. Anyway, now we know. We got home and thought well hopefully these will be amazing pizzas after all that, but we were rather disappointed and felt the fresh chilli layered on almost all pizzas, making it inedible for many of our guest, was a retaliation for our large order. But maybe, it was just a mistake, forever the optimist. Maybe one day I'll get over this experience and give them another try, but for now, I'll be looking to support other local...
