DO NOT RECOMMEND- THE WORST EXPERIENCE/SERVICE I have EVER received in my life and did not honour what was printed on the menu. SO disappointing and disgusted with the customer service we received, I felt so disrespected and ignored. We were normal sober respectful people attending dinner, yet when we asked the waitress for some drinks she then takes our order and doesn't come back, not only once but twice, her service was rude, she rolled her eyes at us and had a really bad attitude. We then spoke to the bartender and complained about the lack of service we are receiving he then got the manager and we then were denied drinks service after 3 drinks until we ate dinner (due to a situation that happened at the restaurant where a girl was very intoxicated and was crying so they changed their drinking policy explained from the bar manager Zac) We then happily accepted that and ate our dinner, me and my friend then got another drink after our meal but for some reason my partner didn't receive his, by this stage where over it was also very contradicting when they never offered or gave us water our whole sitting...
The food was 2/5 for me as the ceviche was warm when it should be cold and the bread we got wasn't warm for the butter dip, fish was cooked lovely but it said it had eggplant with it and there was none what so ever so I asked the manager and he said it’s in the risotto rice and it was straight rice? Cocktails 4/5 but service -1/5 Will never be returning. I do not recommend...

This was a pleasant surprise as we ate here probably every day of the 3 that we were in town. I typically shy away from restaurants that are in the hotel because they tend to be pricey. We felt, for Americans, that this was decently priced and that each time we ate here, we got a different meal
FOOD WE TRIED: Chicken and vegetable dumplings Prawn and chive Gyoza Arancini 55 day aged beef brisket sliders Seafood Risotto Spaghetti with mussels, snapper and prawns
The sliders, gyoza and spaghetti with seafood was VERY good. I wouldn't order the dumplings again, but I always forget that chicken dumplings just aren't the same as pork and/or shrimp. The Arancini was a bit disappointing in flavor, maybe just a touch more salt would have been helpful and same thing with the flavor of the Risotto. The seafood was cooked perfectly, but the sauce on it just wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked, for a risotto.
Service was always great with the staff always helpful with recommendations. We were very happy to have access to this restaurant during our stay...
Read moreWe were really disappointed with our experience at Queen’s Head Bar.
It took 50 minutes for our starters to arrive and 55 minutes just to get our drinks (one cocktail and one tap beer). When the espresso martini finally came, it was warm and watery — completely undrinkable.
After waiting so long, we ended up cancelling our mains altogether. The head chef was running food to tables, which I imagine is due to short staffing, but it’s not a good look for a hotel venue charging these kinds of prices. The food we did receive was pretty average, and overall it felt very overpriced for the quality and service.
We sympathise with the staff — they were clearly doing their best under pressure — but this level of service is not acceptable. At least five other tables around us were audibly complaining, many of whom were hotel guests. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend...
