TGI Friday's - One Ayala — Restaurant in Makati

Friday's, the lead Bistro Group restaurant never fails to give me a good food experience. Great food, consistency, affordable quality and personalized service differentiate restaurants in the Bill Stelton stable from other groups. They have been in the food business for so long, they have mastered the craft. When my kids were young boys, this was their birthday spot. That was in the mid 90s. Now they have children of their own.

Food - 5*, we got the Nacho Platter (₱895), Kale and Quinoa Salad (₱850), New York Strip Steak (₱1,795) with New York Strip loin cooked medium served with mashed potatoes, buttered corn, veggies and peppercorn sauce and Signature Platter (₱4,495) with Full Baby back Ribs, Grilled Boneless Chicken, Buttered Corn, Onion Rings, Baked Mac n Cheese, Mashed potatoes with Bechamel sauce and Bacon bits.

Service - 5*, one of the best, service etiquette, product knowledge, customer rapport and going the extra mile are ingrained in Bistro Group service staff

DATE OF VISIT: JAN. 27, 2025 My recent visit to TGI Fridays One Ayala was an average dining experience. While the food was decent, nothing truly stood out, except for the nachos, which were crisp, fresh, and unlimited—definitely the highlight of the meal. The onion rings and Caesar salad were full-sized, which was a nice touch. As for the chicken and pasta, they were just okay—nothing particularly memorable but still enjoyable. One downside of our visit was the noisy crowd, which made it difficult to have a proper conversation. You know, I love a restaurant whose food looks like the picture in the menu. Sirloin steak, spare ribs, 6 Spice Chicken and Scallop Scampi all mirrored the menu. The only complaints were the rib meat was not the best quality and there was a little too much char on the sirloin steak. My friend eating the ribs has about 30 years in the food industry. The average person probably would not be as critical. The Scampi was great. Pasta cooked perfectly. Only 2 shrimp but they too were cooked perfectly.
