Shakey's Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in Malay

We had dinner here for my niece's birthday celebration on a Saturday night since she wanted pizza and pasta, we just walked in and we were seated right away which is ok. Ordered our usual meal deal, and we asked if possible we could order a cake for my niece's birthday. We had a great experience before at Shakeys Aseana so we were expecting the same from the same chain. So the lady told us they have a cupcake for the bday girl, after eating I asked the receptionist named "JAYCEL" if they could serve the cupcake but she told me straight that they could not serve the cake since everyone is sooo "busy" daw and they have no time to make the cake. So I was like what are you saying?!! So I told her I will order the sundae nlang so we could at least sing happy birthday to my niece feeling disappointed, clearly this branch doesnt know Customer Service. I understand naman that the place is busy, no need to sing but at least bring me my ordered cake or sundae! Then 15-20mins passed and nobody served it, I have to call pa the attention of the said receptionist lady "Jaycel " to serve my ordered sundae since Im going to pay for it anyway! It was served immediately with a Happy Bday note but everyone's mood is so bad na, anyway would not recommend it in Boracay! Avoid this place esp. this rude server. Maybe this is the last time we will ever pay a visit to this pizza shop in this area....

I thought I’ll never have chance to dine and eat at Shakey’s here in boracay, but since we’re forcibly extended our stay due to technical issues in NAIA/MIA fiasco… a beautiful Dilemma for my family. We had a chance to dine in their Boracay beach front restaurant.. we ordered the super meal promo that comes with the Shakey’s card for free.. the meal promo includes 2 premium pizzas, spaghetti platter, 5pcs fried chicken, house blend ice tea and mojos… as far as the taste and quality.. they have the same consistency since I left the country… it tastes the same way I clearly remember it. their spaghetti noodles were yellow before but now they are white, but tasted the same.. the 2 pizzas we got were the classic managers choice and belly buster.. fried chicken were perfectly fried and crispy.. you just ask for the gravy refill if you want more.. their house blend ice tea is delicious.. and of course.. you can never go wrong with their Mojos!! A classic must have!! Overall I’m really satisfied with service and quality of food.. also for it’s price.. it’s certainly a winner for budget conscious travellers… I highly recommend this place as they have a beach front view.. the service were decent and the food is excellent.. shakey’s...

Very slow service. We ordered the Buy 1 Take 1 Pizza since I do have a Shakey's Supercard.

30 minutes passed by, our order wasn't served yet.

My mother got furious and complained to the waiter. He said that one of the pizza we ordered, they placed the wrong one in the oven, so they made a new one.They asked us to wait for another 6 minutes but the pizza didn't came.

My mother reached out to the manager as we were really hungry. The manager just kept on apologizing unsincerely just to pacify her.

It is very unfortunate that this happened to us. It somewhat ruined our night. Instead of my parents to be relaxed, they experienced stress just to wait for our pizza to arrive.
