Service need to be improved! I guess this resto had the worst service we had in PH. We ordered 2 drinks and 2 dishes. Waiting time until last dish came was approx 40min. The problem is that they give each dish separately. So you can’t normally enjoy together. One person should eat first while another will look. First they brought us cocktail, long time later (10-15min) 1st dish came, then 3rd was shake. And 20 min from cocktail second dish came (12 min apart from 1st dish). So, they assume it is okay to drink and eat separately each person. Sorry, but this is not service. And moreover, this is not okay to charge extra 10% for that. For food - it was good, but not great. Portion of one dish was super small for adult I guess. Drinks: Pina Colada was good, watermelon shake - bad. But. The most terrible thing: they gave my hubby wrong receipt. So he paid extra money as he never expects a trick. But then I had a looked at the receipt. I recalculated, and understood we paid extra about 200PHP (230 smth to be more precise), and I asked hubby to go to cashier. So first he was told that that’s okay and no mistake. And then after extra check the mistake was confirmed. We have no problems with mistakes (that is totally OKAY, anyone can make mistakes). But this is not OKAY to treat your customers bad after YOUR mistake. The thing that ruined our experience is that cashier did not apologize, and moreover, showed inappropriate behaviour. She literally tossed the coins onto the counter and looked very annoyed. Without any words or explanation, or simply “sorry”. Just silence with irritation. Overall, I was super upset and felt bad after that dinner. So I do not recommend to visit if you need not only food, but a good...
Read moreAbsolutely fell in love with this place.
Gorgeous decoration, kind and friendly staff offering fantastic service, and out of our week on the island, by FAR the best food.
Normally we like to try to somewhere new, but we just kept going back! (An almost embarrassing amount of times..)
This was partly due to the fact there was a typhoon meaning the beach was a no-go, and they have a great deal for pool access: 800p per person, which inc 650p each that can be redeemed on food and drink. But we only discovered this on our second visit…
In order of our favourites - Garlicky Longganisa (pork) with rice and salad (just YUM)
Chimichuri Chicken with rice and corn on the cob (melt in your mouth chicken and the rice was flavoured to perfection)
Longganisa pesto pasta (tasty tasty tasty)
Get the Chada Burger if you’re starving - it’s absolutely massive
Chimichurri toastie with friend chicken was yummy and filling but wish it had more chimichuri
Carbonara tasted great but the portion was on the smaller side and we’d have loved it a bit hotter
Proper coffee that hit the spot
Happy hour on drinks 2-7pm (2 for around 260p). Events on Fri and Sat nights.
Cocktails were brilliant- the cocktail waitress seemed passionate and skilled.
There are countless similarly priced restaurants that really don’t compare, strongly recommend for your trip to Bohol!
Each time we’d be eating our food doing a little dance because it was so good (and the staff would join in which was so funny and cute). So glad...
Read moreI would rate the place a solid 4.4/5 The food that we got was really good. We ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and carbonara. The carbonara was really good. Pasta was aldente, the carbonara was authentic with guanchale used and the creaminess of the yolk comes through. Highly recommended. The grilled sandwich was really good as well. It wasn’t the traditional grilled cheese as it had chimi churi tomatoes but it was very much cheesy nonetheless and the tomatoes provided a nice balance to the richness of the cheese. The sandwich came with chicken tenders as well which were a tad over cooked but was well seasoned. We ordered drinks as well, amaretto sour and whiskey sour. The amartto sour was disappointing. The bartender placed too much orange bitter which over powered the drink and made it unpleasant. The whiskey sour was much better as I told the bartender to not put too much orange bitter. I’ve tried better though. The ambiance is top notch. Really recommend this place. Everything was fairly priced as well. This place needs more traffic as it serves way better food than most “famous”/known places here in Panglao. Will definitely...
