Read moreWhat may you expect when eating in a Burger King? The branche at Marquês Pombal looks like an old office canteen, and not in a charming way. It doesn't make you feel very welcome.
When compiling an order at the order interface, at the end, you find out you can only pay at the interface with an American credit card.
No Eurocard, no debit card, and no Multibanco, the biggest collective Portuguese banks online payment system. For those, you need to stand in line for the single cash/PIN register, but first, do the ordering process again with an unwilling employee.
No greeting, no smile, just bored faces. Like they all hate their job. I'm aware the pay is bad, and there are not many alternatives, but the customer isn't an enemy. Most likely, a lot or most of the blame is on the management of the place. I don't know whether it's a branch or a franchise, this place.

The WC, for which a code is provided on the receipt, was nowhere to be found.
I won't be visiting this...

They don’t need to laugh like crazy people, however, a smile and a good morning/afternoon is well appreciated. All of them, specially the only woman in the register, need soft skills training immediately. Also work on internal communication, as they also have an open kitchen concept, yelling at colleagues in front of customers is not the way to go.
The low rating is due to being made feel like I’m doing a favour each time I need to pay or ask for anything and the long waits when is empty.
Overall they follow the HACCP and...
