Scam alert !!!!! Don’t fall for this , what it seems to be like a tourist trap. First you are greeted by a man who is promoting the restaurant as family owned business with local portuguese food and wine. ( Using a phrase my house is your house 😂) . What can go wrong then ? Everything . There is no menu present on the tables - they bring it after you are seated ( they bring drink menu after ) . Mr. waiter is rushing you to choose from the options, and he literally tried to snatch the menu from my girlfriends hands 😂 ( Yes they will charge you more so you cannot compare the prices available at the board from the ones from paper menu ) The food : I had the worst salad ever followed by pirri pirri chicken which was bland and tasteless really one of the worst meals i have ever had . We ordered another main course just to compare our meals and the local fish cod with rice was just below average. Really dont understand how can people give 5 stars here … Giving that one star for Port wine ( one glass 7 euros ). Meals were really below standarts with the taste and with the way how they were presented. Nothing to do with the word local cuisine here from the staff , service to the whole experience . There is no paper receipt , they just show you ipad with all the items you ordered ( probably little bit modified - didnt have time to check it cause Mr. Waiter tried his best to snatch it from us asap. ) Our bill 56,50 Euros (1 salad , 2 mains , glass of port , 1 cola , 1 water ) . Avoid at all cost especially if you are a tourist . Last thing : Next to our table was a german speaking family, seated and ready to order … after 5 minutes of checking the menu they just left … So thats my...

Im a portuguese citizen living in London now and to my surprise and possibly ignorance I got fooled into a tourist trap today, even to a Portuguese person!! I ordered what they display the most which is dish of the day at a very reasonable price - Bacalhau a braz - €8.99 and rebalo grelhado €10.49 but unfortunately my partner asked for Sangria without checking the price! (Huge mistake), we didn't order starter (lucky) or desert (which apparently no Menu!!! Price could have been spiked up at their wishes), only 2 coffees and bill.
Once bill arrives I see Sangria 1L for €24!!! That was ridiculous specially for Lisbon! I complained to the only Portuguese employee (others were Indian) and while he was eating his lovely ice cream he said he didn't care and he doesn't make the prices, he says as an excuse that is the price of the area. Then show all prices!! They had a hidden drinks menu which they don't show to customers with the prices which shows sangria for €24. Even though I read some reviews I still fell for the tourist trap! Food was reasonable good but after the obvious trap plus the arrogance of the Portuguese employee I can't recommend this place to no one!!!
Don't fall for prices outside and if so, ask for the price before ordering anything!!! First and...

Food:
piri-piri chicken The piri-piri chicken was very dry and the vegetables were disappointing (salad obviously from a premade bag). Worst Portuguese chicken we've had in Portugal: not tender, not flavourful. A huge disappointment.
Seafood salad The same out-of-the-bag pre-cut lettuce with corn, one slice of tomato and seafood cooked in garlic on top. The seafood was ok (not delicious), but the salad was so awful, there was nothing to bring it together as a full meal with the seafood. It just felt like they dumped the seafood on top of the pre-made salad and called it a day.I had to leave all the greens behind when the whole point was to have some vegetables.
Drinks - RED FLAG: no drink menu - prices are an end-of-the-meal surprise! We both got water, and they surprise charged us 3.5€ each for the small plastic bottles (300ml) (one each) we poured into our glasses ourselves.
Service: They got our orders and delivered the food. Brought the check quickly when asked. They all speak many languages.
Atmosphere: it's a cute place to sit down with pretty cloth covered tables.
Friendly tip: do...
