I stumbled upon N3 and honestly, I couldn't be happier. The owner/mixologist here is the real deal - you can tell right away that making drinks isn't just a job for him, it's his passion.

First up, I tried their take on an Old Fashioned with a Spanish twist. Look, I've had plenty of Old Fashioneds before, but this one? Next level. The way he balanced the flavors showed he really knows his stuff.

Then I got a bit cheeky and challenged him to make me something smoky with bourbon or rye. You know how sometimes bartenders give you that annoyed look when you go off-menu? Not here. His eyes lit up and he created this incredible cocktail that was exactly what I was craving - maybe even better.

What really got me was how much he clearly loves what he does. While mixing drinks, he's sharing his knowledge, but not in that pretentious way some cocktail places do. It's more like chatting with a friend who happens to be really, really good at making drinks.

Already when entering the place, you feel that this is not just your regular cocktail bar. Hidden in a small alley, you enter through a heavy door. The two guys running the place greet you and immediately see you can sit somewhere - either the bar downstairs with dimmed light and a beautiful bar showcasing all liqueurs, or at the cute tables going up the antique stairs.

When it comes to cocktails; they know what they are doing. They have a nice menu and serve creative and delicious cocktails. Every cocktail is prepared with care, a few shaking tricks, and you will get a glass of water, nuts, and a smile.
