Where do I even begin.... Over the course of three months, Al-Nassim literally became my home away from home. It started out as a place my roommates said had cool matcha and interesting staff. GREAT PLUSH SEATS. Also a great place to watch love island (u.k. version) on full blast. Then when we started sitting in the back left corner (if you're looking at it right when you walk in), we solidified our title as THE matcha girls -- highly recommend sitting there. Be open to starting conversations and avoid sitting near the bathroom. Worth mentioning: 60% of the staff rides to work on motorcycles (motopapis). If you are an attractive lebanese woman, DO NOT go while angel is there (iykyk). But if you do, just mention you are salty over sweet. If you're not into matcha, their hookah is famous too, I guess. Ask to be served by either the guy who just got married or Bilal. Tell Bilal you like matcha and that the girls say hi -- please make his day now that we can't anymore. We miss him so much. Also, the food is EXCELENTE. A little overpriced (that's why we put 4 stars), but honestly worth it because I feel like the vibes are included in the price. Get the Arayes de carne, anything with hummus (prioritize the hummus), or the shwarma. Also ask the man who just got married what drink he prefers - i can't remember the name but it's the first one on the drink menu that taste just like chai. GIVE MY MAN BILAL A RAISE. He gave us a home when no one else in Madrid would (long story short but we were basically...
Read moreI reserved a table at Al-Nassim for a group of 9, and the experience exceeded all expectations. The servers were incredibly accommodating and made everyone feel genuinely welcome. For most of my friends, this was their first time trying authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, so it was a big experience for them—and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious and brought back memories of home, and the service was impeccable.
We ordered a large amount of food and drinks, and to our surprise, the check was more than reasonable—it was incredibly affordable for the quality and quantity we enjoyed.
I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Angel, who was so kind and generous. He surprised us with complimentary desserts, which were delightful. After dinner, we visited their hookah lounge, where Angel treated us to Chai and a hookah on the house. His warmth and hospitality made us feel truly at home.
The atmosphere was comfortable, and the space was well-kept. The servers worked diligently to ensure we had a wonderful experience. If you're in Madrid and looking for authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, I highly recommend Al-Nassim. You won't be...
Read moreoutstanding. Firstly we started off at the tea place, delicious, i felt the sensations of pomegranate, orange lemon and all kinds of exotic flavours rushing through my body, it ignited passion all around. Furthermore, we continued our lovely evening next door at their outstanding Lebaneses restaurant, where the music set our souls on fire and took us into a whole new dimension. I was truly in lebanon… food was exquisite and the staff impeccably nonchalant. Our waiter went through all kinds of challenges to accommodate us, he was magnificent. The music made us dance, the company made us laugh, and the food had us in awe. But nothing compares to our waitor. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, see you tomorrow and the day after. ❤️...
