Nickel Burger Alameda — Restaurant in Seville

Awful experience, poor customer service, blamed for mistakes in the kitchen.

I ordered a burger which came out short of toppings. I sent it back and received it back later cold. I asked for it to be warmed up and was met with such disgust and a barrage of abuse. I was told it was my fault it was cold. No acknowledgement that they actually forgot to add the toppings in the first place that led to this. I was told they had no way to heat it up and it was my tough luck. I was basically shouted at in front of other tables, for simply stating that I did not think it was right to serve me a burger cold. I was mistreated so much, that I was made so uncomfortable I choose to leave and didn’t even end up eating the food. I felt so shook after, as I never experienced such mistreatment and being blamed for someone else’s mistake. Despite the unpleasant experience I was forced to pay or I would have been stopped on my tracks. I literally felt threatened. The approach made me just want to get out of there so I setteled and ran. Translate this one! After an exhausting 40 minute walk, I finally entered the so called restaurant. Was it worth the wait? ABSOLUTELY NOT! to my surprise, I was startled by a cockroach roaming the grounds of this monstrosity of a place.

When me and my friends sat down, the waitress asked us what we would like to eat/drink. Little did I know, this would be one of the most excruciating conversations I would condone in, in my 17 years of living. Due to my friend having a severe allergy to milk, we tried to ask her if there was any dishes that didn’t contain any dairy products. Does this? She doesn’t know. Does that? She doesn’t know. After at least a good 20-25 mins the waitress realised she had no clue and got assistance. Thankfully, this turned out to be a 2 minute job.

After a good 15-20 min wait for food, my meal arrived. When I cut in the burger, I realised that it was red raw inside. I kid you not, I could have performed the kiss of life to the patty. Of corse, I sent it back and after a second attempt, they were able to get the burger to my liking

Overall, me and my friends had an appalling experience and it’s safe to say they wont be getting another "nickel" off...

An excellent burger, I haven't had a better one in a long time. It's located in an interesting neighborhood, quite vibrant, I must say. The menu is available at the entrance through a QR code, and the selection of burgers is quite wide, with very friendly staff. At first, I started expressing myself in Italian (since it's somewhat similar and it worked in some places where I communicated with older staff :D), but later, the waiter asked if I knew English, to which I replied affirmatively, relieving me of further trouble because my Italian is a bit rusty, admittedly. I left a little tip, precisely because of their kindness. I'm sorry I didn't leave more, actually.

The burger, as you can see in the picture, comes arranged in a small box that opens up like a flower when you lift the lid. It's a brilliant conceptual solution. The meat is very flavorful, as are the toppings. Additionally, there's a great selection of drinks (I had a beer). I highly recommend this place if you visit Seville and crave a burger that isn't from Burger King.
