We stopped by @ Suc de Lluna, inside the beautiful Mercado de Colón, for a short break from our visit of Valencia's center.
Since we were going just to drink something, we decided to try the famous Horchata, a beverage made of tiger nuts (honestly I had never seen them before 😊) !
We drank the sugar-free version and the sugared one, and they are both delicious. Moreover, the waiter served them with some sort of instructions in order to taste the Horchata at its best. Very much appreciated.
We were ready to leave, when a traditional eye-candy paella arrived. Therefore, we changed our mind, took a seat again and stayed for lunch too. 🤭 No need to say that paella 🥘 was exquisite (and portions abundant) We also had some yummy red sangria (a big glass per person), enriched with cranberries and blueberries. Attention to details.
Staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. Special mention for the beautiful Neus.
This place, for food, drink, staff and decoration, is 5*. Must stop by. Highly recommended, even for...
Read moreThe vegan burger was lukewarm, seemed undercooked, definitely very processed (from frozen). Extra onions tepid. Understaffed, meaning 1)no one to advise of this, 2) difficult to get bill, 3) when we did say 'no, we didn't enjoy meal', this was met with indifference, he just walked off. Walked over half an hour to this restaurant to enjoy what I thought was going to be wholesome, healthy food. It wasn't worth it.
Note after reply from 'owner': The responses to complaints on here are strange, disingenuous. One does not have a tepid burger to preserve vitamins, that is rubbish. It is just unpalatable and especially for a so-called healthy Bio-cafe, a processed vegan burger is not good at all.
If we could have got the attention of a waiter/waitress we would at least have asked for it to be heated up properly. It proved difficult even to get the bill at the end.
We always check Google reviews and were hoping for a nice meal out in Valencia. Unfortunately,...
Read moreWe had an absolutely wonderful experience at Bio Café Organic in Valencia. The food was not only delicious but also incredibly fresh and healthy — perfect after a busy day exploring the city. Their organic snacks and wines are top quality, and everything is served with great care and attention.
What truly made our visit unforgettable was the amazing service from Chiara, a charming Italian Juventus supporter (yes, I’ll forgive her for that — I’m an Arsenal fan myself!). Her warm smile, fluent English (not always a given here!), and vibrant personality made us feel truly welcome.
The location is beautiful — nestled in a historic part of the city, with a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. We felt completely at ease, recharging in the best possible way.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy spot with healthy food, great vibes, and exceptional service. Thank you, Chiara! 💚...
