Great portions of unbelievable Italian food, dare I say cuisine, for a seemingly unbeatable price: 330kr=33€ for 2 people.
I've never written a review for a restaurant in my life, but this made the difference.
We ordered the Asparagus Risotto w/ Steak (pictured) and the Grilled Swordfish. Unfortunately, I took a few bites before realising I might want to include a picture haha, hence why the plating is a little off.
Both dishes were wondrously complex: texturally, as well as to the pallet. Every component solidified its bold place in the dish, all perfectly cooked, seasoned, proportioned, and plated. Their tasteful simplicity and familiarity blew me away even more; Each individual flavor played into and contrasted from each other harmoniously.
Not to mention, the table-side olive oil was accompanied by slices of crispy, warm, and soft focaccia, alongside a petite pine nut salad with balsamic dressing. Served seemingly the instant we ordered; there wasn't even much of a need for it, as the main course was prompt regardless.
For dessert, we shared the panna cotta w/ raspberry and passionfruit. Velvety and lightly sweet cream was met with a magnificent contrast from the layer of tart jam and crunchy seeds. This hit the head-on-the-nail as a closer to the meal.
To top it all off, the ambience, crowd, and service were all one could ask for. The waiter was kind, helpful, and considerate, the kitchen was visible, the smells were entrancing, the seating was welcoming, I could go on and on.
Although it's not even a little bit corona-proof (beware if this concerns you), it is the most memorable meal I've had in...

To start off we had Parma Ham with Melon 🥓🍈 (95 SEK), and it was my first time trying this combination and I really liked it! The sweet juicy melons slices complemented well with the savoury meaty flavour from the ham. Both were as fresh as it can get. To pair with the ham we had an Aperol 🍊 (75 SEK) drink which was so fruity and refreshing.
For our pastas, they had daily pasta selections and we got both of their daily special. The Spaghetti Bia Musslor 🍝🐚 (155 SEK) was came in a huge portion, with loads of mussels that provided so much seafood flavour. The mussels were so fresh and they were so soft and juicy. I must say the pasta used is really of a different grade, as the texture was so bouncy. The light tomato base made it not so surfeiting, and anyone can finish the bowl no problem.
The Tortellini Alla Panna 🧀 (155 SEK) was very rich and cheesy, with a peppery taste. This was quite surfeiting and recommended to share. There wasn't much meat within the tortellini, so most flavours come from the sauce. The pasta dough outside was quite bouncy as well.
With the daily menu and it being not too expensive, I can see why many people come here after work for a drink or a meal with friends! Do come here when you're...
Read moreAs soon as we arrived we noticed that the workers were not very nice. We ordered three pasta dishes (with clams, with tomatoes and mozzarella and paccheri al ragù), as an italian I did not have great expectations, but I was still disappointed, the dishes were mediocre at best, all of them way too salty and the tomato pasta did not even taste like tomatoes. When we paid and brought up the fact that everything (even the salad) was way too salty, the manager got defensive and said it was because of the parmesan (never tried parmesan this salty) which was actually only present in one of the dishes. Overall not good service and passable dishes, would...
