Snack-Express — Restaurant in Interlaken

I wanted to buy a scoop of ice cream. When I asked to try one of the flavour, the owner refused arrogantly and I was shocked because every ice cream shop that I went to so far do allow their customers to taste and pick their favourite flavour. Annoyed by the reaction, I left the shop only to get shouted by the owner on the street. His words were as follows: I will be out of business if I allow people to taste (before they buy). Then, I smiled because that means his ice creams suck and people wouldn’t buy if they tasted it first. After that, my family and I went to an ice cream shop nearby called La Creperie. This shop allowed us to try lots of flavour and we ended up buying 9 cones of ice cream. It is 20 cents cheaper than Snack-Express per scoop and it tastes like proper gelato. Therefore, please avoid Snack-Express as they do not know how to treat other human being and all they care about is making money serving garbage to desperate muslims who couldn’t get halal...

Amazing Food & Even Better Hospitality – 10/10 Recommend!

We ate here while visiting as tourists, and it quickly became one of our favorite spots! The food was absolutely incredible – every dish we tried was packed with flavor and clearly made with care. Easily a 10/10 experience.

On our last day, we mentioned to the staff how much we had enjoyed everything during our stay. When they found out we were leaving, the guy kindly gave us three free ice creams on the house as a farewell treat. Such a thoughtful gesture that really made our day!

Incredibly delicious shawarma - good as it was 6 years ago! My family members took us after they first discovered this place 6 years ago and they said it was exactly as good as they remembered. Easily one of the more affordable places in Interlaken, but it definitely packs plenty of flavor in each of their dishes! Their fries were even similar to McDonald's fries, but better since they were larger, so they were able to be crispy outside while soft in the center. We had it a couple of times during our 3 day stay in Interlaken, which shows how much we enjoyed it! Would definitely come back again if I'm ever...
