We were at this restaurant on 26th April 2019 and had a terrible experience with their racist attitude and behavior towards us. We were 3 families with kids and so occupied 3 different tables, while directing us to our the tables , the waitress stated that we will need to order 1 dish per person and sharing is not allowed. It was cold and snowing outside and me and my wife only wanted a hot drink while my kid would have loved to eat. While we settled down and I placed my order of 2 hot drinks and a pizza for my kid she went and called her chief who apparently is also the owner, who came to my table and told me that we will need to order 1 dish to "eat" per person. Gave me a B* S* talk of how he cannot afford to run the hotel if people share dishes. I asked for some time and I observed around where I could see people were indeed sharing the dishes. I confronted the chief on this rule and the fact that other guest were sharing dishes. He then mellowed down and agreed to accept my order. We then waited for long time for someone to show up at my table and accept my order. It seemed to me that they were clearly avoiding to take our order. Although we ordered the mini pizza ( there were only 2 sizes available) , it was large for 10 year old to finish on his own and my wife helped him finish 1-2 slices. My cousins on the other 2 tables also faced this inconvenience.
Finally when I paid the bill, I gave the chief a big piece of my mind . Clearly they made up the rules on-the-go for reasons that they know best. There were no such rule pertaining to "sharing " written anywhere or on the menu. If it was written we would have definitely complied or not even entered but I cannot stand the racist attitude of this place. To add to it, almost all of the staff was rude and behaved as if they were doing a favor by serving us. We are a well traveled bunch of people but have never seen such a pathetic hospitality anywhere yet. Avoid this restaurant if you don't want to be treated at...
Read moreSo, let me tell you about this gem I stumbled upon at Bahnhofbuffet Non Solo Treno – the Pizza Maya. Seriously, it's a game-changer for lunch, especially after hitting the slopes. Picture this: a crispy crust, loaded with tender chicken, caramelized onions, and a hint of jalapeno kick. It's like Italy meets the ancient Maya civilization on a plate!
The moment you sink your teeth into it, you're hit with this explosion of flavors. The chicken, oh man, it's marinated to perfection with spices that just dance on your taste buds. And those caramelized onions? They bring this sweet, savory element that's irresistible. Plus, the jalapenos add a nice little kick without overpowering the whole thing.
But wait, it gets better. Pair it with a pint of beer, and you're in for a treat. The beer's crispness cuts through the richness of the pizza, making every sip and bite a match made in heaven. Trust me, it's the ultimate afternoon indulgence.
And let's talk about the vibe at Bahnhofbuffet Non Solo Treno – cozy, welcoming, like you're dining at a friend's place. The service? Top-notch. They really know how to make you feel at home.
So, if you're ever in the mood for a lunch that's more than just food, head over to Bahnhofbuffet Non Solo Treno and give the Pizza Maya a try. It's not just a meal; it's an experience you...

I recently visited a pizza place next to the train station in Zermatt with a large group of 16 people. The restaurant was about 20% occupied, so it was far from busy. However, our experience was far from pleasant.
Upon approaching the lady at the counter to inquire if they could accommodate our group, we were met with a surprising and disappointing response. She informed us that they couldn't handle a group our size and insisted that we order a minimum of three pizzas per table of four. This approach to customer service was bewildering and unwelcoming.
It became clear that this establishment is not prepared for crowds and seems inexperienced in dealing with tourists from different countries. Being from the US and having traveled extensively, I've never encountered such condescending and discriminatory service. It felt humiliating to be dictated on what and how much to order.
Thankfully, we found a much better place for our large group and took our business elsewhere.
I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant if you expect respectful and...
