New Year’s Eve experience.
Food : starters: only the yellow tail sushi was good, rest not good Main: very good fish - good meat Dessert: just just average
All in all: ok ish, not ok for New Year’s Eve dinner and for sure not good quality for money ratio
Service: ok, but our waiter was was not accurate. I ordered a bottle of red wine and I have been delivered another one. I only realized once served. So I kept it. I then ordered a second one, the original one, while I mentioned to the sommelier the mistake on the first one, he said nothing, and just brought back the second bottle. Then I was charged full rate… Not even a small commercial gesture while I spent 500+ chf in wine… Not a friendly commercial approach with the customer!
Ambiance: Excellent- The singers/group on stage was excellent. By the way can I get their details/agent number.

Read moreA restaurant that doesn't manage to have happy and sated clients failed its main mission. We sat down at 9pm (when second seating starts) with food served at 9.30pm. Nobody told us the kitchen would have closed at 10. Result is that at 10.15 we were still starving but we couldn't order any more food except for deserts. The restaurant manager (who is clearly not up to the task) could not provide any solution. No coffees offered at the end, no apologies, nothing. For a restautant where the bill stood at 180chf per person you would expect more. Here in Zermatt they might go for a quick internship in La Muña in Zurich where service is spotless or in London where in the same type of restaurants you get a correct service. Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at La Muña on Wednesday night. The atmosphere and staff were immediately welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived. Not only was every dish incredible and unique, from the starters to the desserts, but the staff were very well-versed in allergy maintenance. I have a severe gluten intolerance and was able to make a note of this in the reservation. When I arrived at the restaurant, my server immediately walked me through all of my options on the menu without me even having to ask! The chef was even able to make alterations to a few dishes so I could still enjoy them. This was by far the best experience I’ve had dining out with my allergy. I would highly recommend to anyone...
