🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🤩🤩🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🤩 Update: I love this place once again was here on Saturday. I mean Sunday night with my friend who came in from Canada and we had a pleasure to come to Tony’s for a nice authentic Italian dinner.! 🍽️
We had the truffle pizza and the vodka sauce pasta, which was very tasty the ingredients, and the quality is impeccable!!
You definitely want to try the appetizers and their bread of course I love the breadsticks little bowl with the balsamic and olive oil, so classic Italian! The olive oil tastes so much like olive oil, and has that taste where you want to really dip it in with your bread and feel that delicious mixture of balsamic and olive oil!
We also tried the Hamachi, which was oh my gosh very very well done it could’ve been a little bit more spicy from my taste but again it’s zero complaints with regards to the actual dish itself!
And the tiramisu the way it comes out. It’s unbelievable presentation and you’re actually curious what’s inside and when you open it up it’s one of the most delicious tiramisu I think that I’ve ever had.!!
Bravo 👍🏼 Tony’s!! You 😎 Hit the Mark once again

Tony’s is situated towards the top end of Soi11, in front of the Hyde condos. Clean semi enclosed outdoor area looking over the Soi, where we started off the evening on a high table, sipping on well made happy hour cocktails which we leaned serviced Sunday - Thursday 5-10pm. Great spot to watching life go by. 8pm they normally have a DJ playing music fitting of the venue, but not to loud that you can’t enjoy conversations. Around us many couples and friends on other tables also enjoy the outdoor weather over food and drinks.
We later stepped inside the restaurant for dinner. Inside seats maybe 50 covers with a bar at the entrance, tables by the full glass windows, and more inside be the kitchen. We sat between the open kitchen and pizza area, where we could see the pizza oven and bakers at work on one side and the other the chefs cooking up some amazing looking dishes.
Started with a straight up Neapolitan margarita, which we could see made to perfection 2 mins in oven, and served. Amazing crumb and base. With just the right amount of mozzarella, drizzle of olive oil with a home made style of marinara with a sweet and spice undertone your Italian mother would be proud of.
Mains, the seafood Tortellini and recommended as one of the most popular dishes, so went for that and the half baby chicken with polenta. Wow the tortellini was great nicely thin pasta stuffed with a mix seafood, with a creamy buttery sauce, to savory with very mouthful. The chicken cooked to perfection, very tender, juicy and succulent, on top of fried polenta wedges, with surrounded a citrus spice sauce and corn. The sauce was amazing with the right balance of spice to tart flavor which added another element to the dish and elevated a simple chicken to a dish I would return again for. Finally dessert the banana Nutella lava cake, great way to end a meal for that sweet tooth. As you spoon open the lava cake to see the sweet inside Ooze out and quickly want to take little of the hazelnut ice cream with slice of the caramelized banana to your mouth to get the hot VS cold with sweet flavors to bring you to happiness of a wonder ending to your meal.
The service was on point friendly, and attentive, with a smile and happy to talk about the dishes when asked and make recommendations. We will be...
Read moreWent there to celebrate a friend's birthday, wasn't sure we ordered the right things because none of the dishes stood out in a good way and food was very expensive. We ordered: Grilled Octopus (this was okay, friends liked it, but personally it didn't stand out to me.) Chicken liver pate (paté was good and smooth and liked the toast that came with but it was sweet and everything else was sweet), Ravioli (pasta was undercooked, sauce didn't stand out and was a bit watery), Veal Parmigiano (tough and bland, perhaps a stronger tasting sauce or mustard or some kind of spicy condiment or just additional parmesan to taste? Fortunately we had what was left or the pate to add taste). The sides took a while to arrive, the grilled cauliflower was wet and had sour sultanas in them which was a bit strange, personally didn't think the balsamic that came with the spinach worked, and the spinach was a bit tough, the mushroom was decent though and bread basket was decent. Tiramisu was moist, has its uniqueness, huge, and wasn't bad, not sure the cookie crust worked though. Given the price range I did not taste the premium nature of the ingredients.
Service wasn't bad but expected more from a restaurant of this price range (order that food came out was one thing, busted the birthday surprise before dinner began was another, asked about cake in front of Birthday boy, when I took care to hide said cake by delivering it straight to kitchen, birthday candel came unlit).
I might be nitpicky about all this due to the strength or the Italian food scene here and since this is a fusion(?) Italian-American it may be different, also the fact that this place was so heavily praised on BangkokFoodies so had high expectations. The menu also looked really good so yea...sorry but really not...
