I checked into Grande Center Point Rajadamri yesterday afternoon and went to the restaurant at about 1 pm with a friend. We were startled that there was no one at the door to greet us in the nearly empty restaurant but decided to get a table anyway. We saw a waiter at the cashier and asked her for a menu. I was ending my 20 hrs intermittent fasting with my 1st meal of the day and was really eager to order but every time I ordered, the male waiter would only look at me blankly and will only scribble in his order pad when my friend spoke to him in Thai. We eventually ordered a watermelon juice for my friend, iced Thai milk tea for myself , a carafe of cold water , moo kra pao topped with a duck egg for myself , a 5 spice pork stew and stirred fried morning glory to share with my friend, plus 2 desserts of red ruby banana and a coconut dish. Drinks came but my Thai iced tea was not delivered and it came only after 3 reminders to 3 different nonchalant waiters .. the last reminder was slightly more aggressive as we were running out of patience, bearing in mind I was breaking my fast. Food came and I gobbled down my moo kra pao and I regretted it. The duck egg and minced meat tasted funny but I thought it was just me because I’ve not eaten in 20 hours. Meal ended in about 30 mins and to be honest , the other dishes were oily or bland. 3 hours laters at about 5 pm , I started to get my shivers , body aches and cramps. It got so bad & feverish , that I couldn’t even get out of bed unless it was to urinate. At about 11 pm, I had a massive bout of diarrhea .. it was the mother of all diarrheas and I stayed in the toilet for close to 1 hour just sitting on the bowl. I felt awfully weak, feverish and yet had the shivers the entire night. Fortunately I had some meds which helped me sleep. I swear I will never ever walk into that restaurant again or even order room service. Service was ‘meh’, food was literally a living nightmare (I’m still having cramps the day after as I write this & still feeling very weak). Good luck to...

When it comes to the food, we ordered three dishes: laab duck, yum woosen, and black garlic eggplant sour salad. Each dish was beautifully presented and had a unique flavor profile that showcased the best of Thai cuisine.
The laab duck was the standout dish for us. The duck was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The dish was served with a variety of fresh herbs and spices, which added a beautiful depth of flavor to the dish. The portion size was also very generous, which was a pleasant surprise.
Next up was the yum woosen, a dish made with glass noodles and prawns. This dish was refreshing and had a great mix of flavors and textures. The glass noodles were perfectly cooked and had a nice springy texture, and the prawns were fresh and succulent. The dish was served with a tangy and spicy dressing that really brought everything together.
Finally, we tried the black garlic eggplant sour salad. This dish had a really interesting mix of flavors, with the black garlic adding a unique and delicious twist. The eggplant was cooked to perfection and had a lovely smoky flavor. The dish was quite sour, but in a good way, and it was a refreshing change from the more savory dishes we had tried earlier.
Overall, we were very impressed with the food at Arun Thai Cuisine by See Fah. The dishes were beautifully presented and had a great balance of flavors and textures. The portion sizes were also very generous, which meant that we left feeling satisfied but not...
