House of HEALS — Restaurant in Lumphini Subdistrict

I had an amazing time at House of Heals in Bangkok. I am a huge fan of drag race Thailand and have seen Pangina perform live in the USA. So when I was planning my trip to Bangkok, I made sure to leave a night available for me to attend a show here to see some of my favorite drag queens! The experience is definitely an elevated one. From the moment you enter the hotel, you are greeted at the elevator and ID checked. Did not have to wait too long before I was on the elevator up to the club! Once I got to the club, I was greeted by an amazing hostess at the entrance and paid an entrance fee which included a free drink. Once you enter, the bar is playing good music, the lighting is amazing, and the whole experience was classy but also fun! The bartenders and staff were super nice and welcoming! I showed up at 9 pm and had to wait an hour for the first show to start, which was no big deal cause the people are fun and I got a good spot to watch the show! I wasn't expecting to meet Pangina this night as I saw they were going to be in the USA while here. But I was surprised to see Pangina! And Pangina was super nice, welcoming, and humbled that I came to the club. They even let me take a picture with them! When Pangina wasn't greeting customers, they were walking around the club making sure the lights were working, the venue was safe, and everything was up to high class standards. It was cool to see how dedicated and devoted Pangina is to the success of the club! Of course the main event of the night was the drag show where I got to see amazing drag queens perform AMAZING shows. They choreography was on point, the music was amazing, and they performances left my heart racing with joy and excitement. When the shows weren't happening, Pangina did a great job at engaging the crowd and keeping the energy going with fun commentary and jokes. The drag queens were also super nice and engaged with the audience when not performing as well allowing for photos and conversation.

Overall my experience at the House of Heals was fun and amazing. I got to see some of the best drag performances I have ever seen. I got to meet my favorite, number one drag queen Pangina. And the club itself kept it standards high, was super clean, and provided for an elevated and sophisticated experience, while also providing space for fun and party. I highly recommend to everyone interested in drag to go to the House of Heals during your stay in Bangkok. You will not regret it!

*PRO TIP: check their Instagram or message them (they are super responsive) asking for the dress code. I found it on their instagram, and I saw people get clocked for not being dressed...

We had high expectations for this bar, especially knowing how incredible drag performers in Thailand can be—and in that regard, the night didn’t disappoint. The queens were phenomenal and put on an energetic, entertaining show during Bingo Night. Their performances were truly the highlight of the evening.

Unfortunately, everything else about the experience left much to be desired. We arrived around 9:00 PM as a group of two. At the entrance, we were met by a staff member managing the elevator who asked us to wait five minutes, giving the impression the venue was full. However, there were only two of us in line, and once upstairs, we found the bar mostly empty.

Upon arrival at the rooftop, we were presented with two entry options by a staff member:

Reserve a table for 1,000 THB per person (which could be used as credit for drinks), or Buy a single drink to enter (with drinks starting around 350 THB). Since it was just a Wednesday and we were looking for a relaxed evening, we went with the second option. However, we were asked to choose our drinks immediately at the door, and the staff's demeanor shifted noticeably once we declined the table option. We were led to a standing table with a less-than-welcoming attitude, despite the bar being nearly empty.

The advertised schedule for both the show and bingo was not followed, which added to the feeling of disorganization. Even with many available seats, staff actively prevented guests from sitting down unless they had paid for a table. At one point, we even saw staff removing chairs entirely from unused tables—clearly a tactic to discourage anyone who didn’t opt for the more expensive package.

Having visited several drag bars across Thailand, this was unfortunately the least welcoming experience we've had. It felt more like a branding cash grab using the name of Pangina Heals than a genuinely enjoyable venue.

Unless you're planning to splurge on a table, be prepared for subpar treatment. While the performers deserve recognition and praise, the overall vibe and management of the bar fall short. Not a place we’d recommend...
