Expressing big disappointment from personal experience - very hesitant to repeat. Drawn in by the appeal of an old establishment I've never tried, targeted ads. and their advertised vegetarian options. Appears they just renovated and revamped. The menu pics on maps at the time I went (February 2024) were outdated so I walked in expecting an affordable meal, sat down and taken by surprise in a bad way - too late to walk out. Prices are STEEP! Added some menu pics for vegetarian and other menu pages for an idea.

I settled with the vegetarian crispy chicken salad with rice (ข้าวยำไก่กรอบ), SHOCKED. Never have I found a dish as much of a sick joke to me as this. Maybe it's their own version of the dish but no Thais would look at this and realise without telling them its a crispy chicken salad...then they will be in disbelief. For plain steamed rice, soy sheets (lower-tier mock chicken), diced tomatoes, onion, slices of lime (told them to omit the chilli) and dressing sauce on the side, it's a downright crime and otherwise just disrespectful to the consumers to be charging 220 Baht for this. Their other menus may be better and I may have had bad luck selecting a horrible dish but prices for other dishes just not appealing.

Service was otherwise good and food was served quickly (cus it didn't take much cook mine). Aspiring to match Thai food chain restaurant in malls but only in pricetag while it seems they forgot to upgrade the food to match. The owners should take note...

Our first visit we served by a guy who was very polite and eager. Waiting time was reasonable and short. Ordered rice with squid and other a vegetarian set meal. For the vegetarian set meal we give 2stars,taste ok but rice portion too tiny, so would not fill up a normal empty stomach. For the seafood rice, squid was soft and easy to chew, prawn was ok too, octopus felt like plastic, rice bit dry and hard although entire portion was fulfilling. This we give half star.In comparison the vegetarian set meal was more tasty than the non-vegetarian set. After finishing,we sat there a woman started moping the floor before she did start moping she served two local women, she also thanked them with hearable tone. On our turn she billed us and gave change by just putting the change on our table, no gesture and with no eye contact. When we got up to leave she was free. She said nothing not...

Food was not bad, but the service was terrible. The server came out to change the sign to "open" and walked back in as if we were invisible. We went in anyway and sat down, and she walked back to us with two menus. Did she pass them to us? No! She just tossed them on the table next to ours and walked off!

At this point we were already in shock because we experienced nothing but the warmest hospitality from everyone else and this is a huge contrast to everyone else. We quickly decided on what to order and waved her over. She came over and wrote down our mains, and walked off BEFORE we were finished ordering!!!

I'd say the food isn't worth the sour experience and looking at the other reviews here it would seem that everyone is likely talking about the...

We found this place for lunch in the vicinity of Siam Square. It is a compact restaurant that also serves non-vegetarian food but has a selection of vegetarian cuisine too. Their selection is limited but of local Thai dishes and in which they use texturised vegetable protein. Two dishes we ordered one with noodles and another with rice were both served with Vegetarian sausage that in colour and shape looked like it's meat based counterpart. Portion sizes were small. Prices are high. The wait staff was polite and helpful. Good place for vegetarian option when near Siam Square.

We had a late lunch at Koko, and let me tell you, their promise of authentic Thai food was spot on! We ordered Tom Yum, stir-fried spinach, and fresh squid, and everything was delicious. They were super nice about making the Tom Yum mild for my mom, and it still packed a flavorful punch without the heat. The stir-fry spinach wasn't greasy at all, and the fresh squid? Cooked perfectly – melt-in-your-mouth good! To wash it all down, I had a Thai iced tea that was super refreshing, not too sweet. Overall, a great spot for a tasty and authentic Thai lunch!
