McDonald's Siam Paragon — Restaurant in Pathum Wan Subdistrict

The taste and quality of McDonald’s in Thailand did not disappoint. I’ve tried McDonald’s in many countries across Southeast Asia and Thailand is one of the best, up there with Singapore.

Since I’m a tourist I decided to try the kra pao and the McSpicy burger. The kra pao was an interesting try but I won’t be eating it again as I didn’t really like the taste. There’s obviously way better pad krapao out there in the restaurants of Bangkok.

Loved the McSpicy burger. Not as potent as the one in Singapore, tender and juicy chicken patty. French fries are also crispy and not soggy. The Thai version of chili is really interesting. It’s not spicy at all with a slight sour taste. Again, I liked it.

If you’re a tourist you should definitely give the golden arches in Thailand a go. The seats get filled out fast during peak lunch time here though, since foot traffic is high here at Siam Paragon.

These people can lie to you. We asked them before ordering whether it's Halal or not. Eiw, the man at the counter told its HALAL. He lied to us that Chicken is all Halal we ordered and our children started eating. After a double check we asked other lady and she said its all Non- Halal. I don't understand why these people lie. This is the reason people don't trust these brands anymore. The staff should be more alert on such things. Bangkok is a cosmopolitan city and everyone comes here around the world. How can anyone lie to you. Respect people respect religion and sentiments.

Learn from Arab people they don't lie for the sales.

We had breakfast here before going Kidzania. Please note this branch only opens at 830am. Aircon is turned on at that hour and takes sometime to cool down. There are 2 Macdonalds in the same building so not advisable as a meeting point. Ordering is through the use of machine and payment made at the counter. Need to walk to the other end of the building to take a lift to Kidzania as the escalator are only allowed...
