I had Shack Stack® which is a Cheeseburger topped with a ‘Shroom Burger with lettuce, tomato and the ShackSauce. This burger costs around THB.395.
Overall taste is not bad. I personally liked crispiness of shroom burger which make it unique. The beef is much more juicier than what we generally getting from QSR chain brands like Burger King or McDonald's.

Read moreGrand opening day! Arrive at 7am = 60th person in line as expected, Thai people just absolutely insane when it comes to food.
Queue staffs were adorable, they took great care of everyone at the line, gave us ice cold lemonade with refills. They didn’t make us feel like homeless people sitting on the street.
Overall outdoor queue last until 10:30am. The first 100 customers received tote bag, oversized t-shirt and cute handcrafted traditional Thai woven bamboo fan. Cute gifts except for 3xl gigantic t-shirt which doesn’t make any sense, I tried to exchange for a smaller size, nope didn’t work.
Once inside, the line move quite steady pace, while staffs offer you free sample of Chocolate and vanilla shakes. Both were so damn good. I spent another 30 minutes to the cashier then 10 minutes wait to get my food. The price, of course expensive, about the same ridiculous level like in the U.S. which felt even more pricey using Thai currency!
I had to get Shack Stack, obviously the best burger option here. Premium quality, tasty! Cheese stuffed fried portobello is to die for. Exactly the same experience I’ve had in New York and Virginia’s Shake Shacks.
Crinkle cut fries also cannot be skip, get it with cheese sauce. For me, it’s the most delicious cheese sauce you can get for cheese fries.
Thailand’s exclusive pandan sticky rice shake was worth getting. But the flavor end up being too sweet and too rich. It’s a perfect nap dessert, don’t drink it if you have to be at work afterward.
Total damage was about 850 baht, for a meal of one person also snacks for my dog! Got 2 pieces of Bag O' Bones cookies, she absolutely love it 🐶
It’s been almost 3 years since I moved to Thailand from America. Sure glad to have another good old Shake Shack experience here in Bangkok. I definitely will go back but not until the crazy line will die down.. probably give it couple months from now.
Anyway, good luck for anyone visiting on the weekends lol. Glad to be off...
Read moreI'm sitting here pondering how to start this review. Maybe I'll start by saying I traveled about 30 minutes through bts and on foot to get here. This was after deciding a day prior to come here today. So there is was a lot of anticipation and build up to this sitting. Oh and Shake Shack is my favorite burger joint having initially had it in the US, then in Kyoto, and now here in Bangkok. That's why it's with profound sadness I have to write this.
🍔 I got the single stack shake burger as you do. Pretty safe bet as I thought to maximize the taste by going with the single stack instead of the double. Unfortunately they seem to be saving their burger sauce for a rainy day or something because I think they forgot to add it to mine. The burger construct was pretty good but looks here were definitely deceiving. Very bland and there was no wow factor that typically follows a shake shack burger. If you've had one before then give it a wide berth to avoid disappointment. I would love if someone from HQ would come to test what's going on here. I'm not sure if it is because of local ingredients or reduction of some elements for the local market (salt? Pepper?).
🍟 Typically I judge fries on their own and they should hold their own without condiments. Adding condiments is to enhance the flavor. These crinkle cuts were very starchy and no salt detected. The free ketchup and mustard were there to make them edible. It reminds me of a scene from the movie Raging Bull where early on Jake LaMotta is arguing with his wife about her cooking. She says "did you ate them? Did you ate them?" to which he replies "I got no choooice... 🤌I got no choice... 🤌" I felt the same. Great acting by Robert De Niro. If you know you know.
🥤The absolute star of the show was the strawberry thickshake. More people should know about it. Made the trip here almost worthwhile. If in the area grab yourself one. You won't regret it.
