Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Dubai

Very disappointed with the experience in Tim Hortons Deira City Center. I don't know from where shall I start telling my experience. I have a work nearby the mall, so every morning I go there to order a coffee and their staffs at the cashier are not even smiling not welcoming and even with Inpolite attitude. Many times they take orders of people who came after me and once you call them, they don't respond. Therefore, every day I waste around 10 to 15 minutes waiting for a coffee that can be done within 2 minutes and it is not even hot! I order my coffee and they always deliver it wrong with something missing. Today.. I don't know who beat my head to go there for lunch!!! I went there and I asked the cashier if they have any meals and prices for the meals.. She just left me talking to myself and went to the other counter to respond to other customers!! I ordered first a meal I got every single thing wrong, and what makes it even funnier that someone else who ordered the same sandwich got my meal before me and what ever she ordered o got it that's what was their excuse for having everything wrong in my meal. I spoke with manager of the branch "manuj".. He was not giving me a chance to speak and just said he will take action and it will not happen again. But he did not offer to change my meal as per my original request!!!!! I got my meal take away holding it with no proper packaging. The meal was not even hot.. Not as per my request so I did not eat it and i just wasted my money and time dealing with people who don't know basics of hospitality and customer service! This branch is not recommended at all...

Tired and hungry, I sat down to a 'New' Buffalo Chicken Ciabatta and and Iced Double Latte. I should have known better. My circle of friends and relatives know that eats at TH, especially the sandwiches could be better. This one was remarkable. Essentially a veg SW with chunky tomato slices, poorly cut lettuce, little or no dressing, visible just as random yellow spots on the ciabatta. The spine portion of the lettuce, which is normally discarded, was used. But, the pièce de résistance was the chicken. Just to remind you this was a chicken sandwich ordered in which the size of the lukewarm chicken was probably 1/5 the size of the ciabatta bun used! Imagine a burger with the meat patty the size of a couple of Dirham coins! A poor, slapdash effort which I left mostly uneaten and sought solace in my Double Latte which to my dismay was a tame and diluted affair. Hardly tasted any different from a regular iced latte made from a single shot. I did speak to the staff who, understandably, did not have much to say except express regret and echo my opinion.
