Legends Sports Bar — Restaurant in Liverpool

Wouldn’t serve me due to something someone I know had said at the bar but didn’t do anything myself, wasn’t actually with the guy on the night out but could understand them not serving him if he’d said something out of order, all I asked politely was why I wasn’t allowed to be served but was told she doesn’t need to give me a reason, this was the manager of the bar a young lady, I was nothing but polite just asked what this person had said as I hadn’t done anything myself but couldn’t get served but was then returned with a lot of abuse shouting and swearing from this young lady, shouting at me saying she could do what she wants as she manages the place, never actually seen service quite as bad as this the manager was possibly the most rude person I have ever spoken to which is a let down as it’s been a lovely bar in the past and had some good visits, the one bar staff told me she didn’t know why she couldn’t serve me she was just told by the manager not to as I knew the guy who said something out of order to the staff, just didn’t understand why I was punished and banned from being served due to someone else’s actions who wasn’t even initially with my group of friends, could have just been a massive misunderstanding but like I said massive shame. To top it off seems that it was passed on to the bouncers in the area not to let me and my group of friends in the pubs which is extremely bewildering as like I said we hadn’t actually done anything ourselves it was just a guy we knew who had said something, definitely stay clear unless you’re looking for a place which could ruin your visit to the city for absolutely...

Went here on Sunday 21/10/19 to watch the match (Liverpool v Man U). The place is clean & tidy with plenty of large tv's. We got in early to secure a good seat & to watch the build up to the match.

Unfortunately instead of listening to the build up to the match, we were subjected to 90 minutes of extremely loud, harrowing live entertainment in the form of a 1 man band. The commentary was finally turned on about 5 minutes prior to kickoff, however by this time we had banging headaches and just felt like going home.

While we were waiting, at least 3 groups appeared at the table next to us and left because of the noise. It's a real shame because the venue is decent, the staff were decent, but for christ sake.....it's a sports bar, play the bloody pre-match...

We were told by the management that the German Cup Final would be available on TV there. We spent about 4 hours of rock solid drinking there, only to be informed 25 minutes before kick-off that the match was not available because they didn't have the right licence ... After that we were desperate to find another place to see the match, which we luckily succeeded in just in time. If you want to be sure to sure to watch a particular sport event, don't trust what you are told by the staff and go...
