Sizzling grill — Restaurant in Plymouth

Well.... What can I say I ordered food via the Uber eat app and menu looked amazing Little did I know I would run into several problems Orders food at 11pm come 12pm still no food then at 12.30 told some items was not available and would do extra nothing mentioned of a partial refund paying for the food I ordered pretty much forced to take the extra meat so I agreed unfortunately come 12.45 guy from restaurant rings me again and says his on way on the same number he called from restaurant 1pm get another phone call from another number saying they was delivering the food and asked for the address even though it's on my order from Uber and asked me to confirm so I did "premier inn Sutton road" he was like what one I said the one on Sutton road he become argumentative about where it was even though I confirmed with hotel reception as they found the situation difficult also! Food arrived 19 mins after the phone call I asked the driver may I check the bag as it's have been over 2hrs at this point and guess what FOOD WAS COLD when I say cold I mean cold it was 2° outside nothing in the bag was slightly warm so we rejected the order and drove into town for food! After the drama of tonight I took a look into the reviews and guess what IM NOT SURPRISED! JUST GIVE UP YOUR JOB AND THROW...

Food was very sad looking however order was correct and good portion size. The fish and chips looked very old and the batter was solid. The fish was grey looking and just looked like an old shop bought fish. The chips were fine just standard takeaway chips. The hot wings tasted okay however were a little pink. The popcorn chicken tasted good but was very dry. The donner kebab tasted good and was probably the best part of our order. The chicken kebab tasted good but was also dry. The lamb kebab tasted okay however was very very chewy and dry. The kebabs came with a small side salad which was nice and seemed fresh. The cheese on the cheesy chips seemed old and sad looking. Arrived within 30 minutes via deliveroo but the restaurant did not update the app.

In summary, the portion sizes were very good but the food itself was dry and looked old. In my opinion the donner kebab was the best thing however I would say it is not worth the money. I would recommend a place called Pizza Fast if you want this sort of thing. It is much cheaper and the quality is much better. I'm a student at the university so this is my go to now.

I’ve not even opened my chicken kebab. Ordered a 9 inch Hawaiian pizza and a small chicken kebab. I was told 10 minutes so I disappeared for 15 minutes. Came back and my pizza was only just put in. After 5 minutes in the oven, some guy took it out, looked at it, and said it needs more minutes. About 10 seconds later a guy took it out and put it in the box. I got back and ate some, but it was all cold. Disgusting scenes from this place. I told them at the time that I was waiting about 25 minutes for my small order, but they blamed being busy… which they weren’t as I was just standing there on my own. They didn’t try apologise, or offer anything for their disgraceful service. Honestly, wouldn’t recommend ever ordering from here. I’m binning my chicken kebab as I don’t trust the cooking by them either. Genuinely the worst customer service I’ve had in the whole of Plymouth. Go elsewhere...
