Read moreStopped by for a quick dessert after this place caught my eye while walking down the main street in Talkeetna. There were quite a few people sitting down at the tables, but was able to walk up and place my order. There were a few unique flavors, so wanted to taste them instead of the usual flavors. They do let you sample them so be sure to ask if you're unsure.
Ordered a scoop of the Fireweed in a cup and the Northern Lights in a cone. Both flavors had the same consistency and were very soft & creamy. They were sweet, but not overwhelmingly sweet. I personally preferred the single flavor of the Fireweed, but both were good. Tables were clearing quickly, so was able to grab and seat and enjoy the ice cream.
