My party and I (4 people) started the evening off with a bang. The vibe was great! As we were entering the establishment, we were greeted by security and a gentleman with thick locks. He, guy with thick locs) asked if we were going to the table or bar. We mentioned the bar. He then suggested a table on the second floor because thatâs where the DJ was. We agreed and thought it would be great for us. So there we are, at the table having a great time until things got out of control.
Our waitress, dark skin young lady with red hair, wasnât pleasant from the jump and after about an hour She was clearly ready for us to go. We were only there for one hour and a half and during that time, we were still buying drinks and food. She then came over and said we had to leave because those tables are for 1 hour only. I respectfully said âwe been buying drinks and food the entire time why do we have to leave?â She stormed off and told another young lady. That young lady, who had been drinking alcohol on the clock, in celebration of her birthday, walked over and slammed a âreservedâ tag on our table. So I gave it back to her! Needless to say, security came over and said that there was a reservation for this table and literally âput us outâ. I was in the middle of a cocktail and still had 7 wings left out of my 10 piece. We were put out in the middle of our meal. Our tab was over $200 for that short period of time. How much do we have to pay to receive at least average treatment? I mean, our surrounding patrons were at their tables longer than we were⌠We were there to celebrate the release of a family member. He served 18 hard years and all we wanted to do was vibe and have a great time! If there was in fact a reservation for that table, she could have said that from the jump and not put us through that, at last minute with no notice ahead of timeâŚ. The person that originally told us about the table should have known and not placed us there. Needless to say, for half the sidebarâs experience, we paid full price for our meals and drinks and wasnât able to complete it all. Itâs clearly no voice for the patrons, those waitresses get to say and do anything and by the time security come, itâs too late. Btw, we asked for a manager but instead of management, we got security that came over pushing and shoving. Iâm highly disappointed at the way we were handled. We came to spend money and have a great time. We werenât there to just take up space and not pay.
After things got hectic one of the security personnel said, he couldâve placed us downstairs. Why wasnât that offered by your waitress, why did she have to single us out, why didnât she go get a manager like we requested, why did security have to come over aggressive like we were going to disrupt your business. We were calm until the commotion happen. Itâs pathetic that we were treated like this on what was not a busy night for sidebar.
Iâve searched this website up and down after this event unfolded and I see nothing about 1 hour seating⌠not one thing! Why why why were we treated so horribly? Iâm devastated and embarrassed
I...
Read moreFood was pretty good. Service not so great. A simple question to the counter staff on a busy day such as âExcuse me, I have a question. I ordered some foodâ. At this point I received an automatic answer to my incomplete question from the counter woman stating âITS COMING!â without so much as making eye contact, allowing me to finish my question and to top it off never stopped to hear my question fully and walks off before I finished asking my question.
I was physically waiting for my food as close as possible to where I ordered it since there was no wait staff on the lower level. Instead the food came out and nobody knew who to give it too because the counter woman was so short with me, she didnât understand I was trying to direct her to ensure the order was provided to me who had been standing nearby so I could take my own food to the lower level not being served by their staff. Other people wanted to make orders so I couldnât stand in front of these people in the way, so while I stand out of the way someone brought the food to my wife on the lower level while Iâm standing upstairs at or near lthe counter waiting on it without anyone giving me notice it was complete because nobody bothered to hear me out when I was asking for the food to be given to me right right where I ordered it so it wouldnât sit as people tried to figure out who bought it.
All of this could have been avoided by having staff that can listen when a customer sees a problem brewing that could be resolved. The counter womanâs rebuttal after becoming super defensive was âI didnât take your orderâ. Exactly the reason Iâm at the counter. The order taker didnât give a number to me, didnât ask my name when taking the order so I stayed nearby and when the order taker was not visible, I wanted to be sure someone who was visible behind the counter as my 15 min timer was set for my food knew, I was standing here at X spot to get it so it wouldnât be cold. I donât go to places with subpar staff who canât even talk to you like a customer. Easily wonât be back here, and the...
Read moreThe two light skinned chicks behind the bar were not on point with their service. 0/10 would not recommend. Was invited on a first date to this place and was immediately thrown off by the fact that there was a $10 cover charge to access their downstairs area (which wasnât anything but a basement with a DJ and a place to smoke hookah). I decided to sit at the bar on the main level to wait for my date. It took 10 minutes for someone to finally notice I was sitting there just to get a menu. I ordered a lemon drop (which was made entirely too sweet) and a plate of grilled white fish and double broccoli. Not only was the fish steamed instead of grilled, it tasted as if it came out of a package. My date ordered me a new drink which wasnât bad for a Long Island iced tea, but it was so loud in the place it was almost impossible to talk. The couple next to us ordered their food and received it almost an hour later, and didnât get what they ordered. The meat looked like it was purchased at Dollar Tree. I asked for the check and it took this woman an entire hour to give us that little piece of paper to check out. The pricing isnât bad for downtown atlanta, but the service is trash unfortunately. I was shocked that I wasnât offered another option for food when I said I didnât like it and it wasnât enjoyable. Waitress said âoh well at least it looks goodâ đ Not knowing the difference between grilled and steamed fish and not being able to make better accommodations is beyond my capacity to comprehend. I wonât be back...
